who has the best memory?

does anybody out there remember the good and the bad about all the previous madden games(1988-2009)?

i can tell you what i know about '07 and '08

MADDEN 2007: one sentence describes that year - GOALLINE HB OFFTACKLE. that year it was nearly impossible to stop this play. everybody would run this play with larry johnson(k.c.) or tomlinson(s.d.) also, there was a great jump button glitch that year where the DT would get a great jump every play and be in your backfield. it was michael vicks last dominating madden year. the zone pass coverage was terrible. also, do you remember the close up view of the QB if he didn't press the A button. we had no time to adjust our defense because we were forced to sit there and stare at the QB's upper torso until he quickly snapped the ball and we had no idea what was going on defensively

MADDEN 2008: remember the year of the spectacular catch? we would run straight backwards with our QB's for 20 yds and then throw the ball downfield to our spec catch WR and he would jump up in traffic and catch it. also, it was the year of the DE contain pinch/crash glitch where the DT would jump into our backfield and sack our QB before we could take a one step drop. every body had to use shotgun by the end of the year.

Shoot man, I remember when you had to stand all your men up in formation on the field. Then turn on the switch and they'd all vibrate and shake.

Most of the time your qb ended up going backwards. And you always had to keep standing your men back up. We used to use the - "nudge your runner while your standing your men up" - glitch.

I remember my brother yelling at me "Hey no touching the runner". Then we'd laugh cuz we knew there was no way he was gonna make it on his own.

I think it was called Coleco Football. Because that's what the guys in college played with. Well that's what I thought anyway.

dont know the years, but i remember one season when curl routes KILLED. all you had to do was press up and pass to the receiver. he would jump up and catch it almost everytime.

another lovely glitched i remember was the punt block glitch. you would rapidly change players back n forth with the 2 guys off the edge. then when he was going to punt, you couldnt change players any more and that let you know when you needed to jump the snap.

i also remember the year when the 'hall of fame' players were free agents and you could place them on different teams. thurman thomas and that guy named bronco were beasts!!! use the madden cards and increase broken tackles and you had tons of yardage with those guys.

by the way, i was never able to get every single madden card.
but i had all the cheerleader cards!!!

well, i'm definitely telling on myself, but i remember
back in madden '92 - the ambulance was classic!
it would come in, knock a bunch of players out of the way and
then drive off with the injured player.
(btw, that was back in the sega genesis/ supa nintendo days)
