Hard Hittin World Series.

Im not gonna rule out the LA teams,but man.Can you imagine how much of a Home Run Derby the World Series would be with NY and Philly.Howard,Utley and Werth.A-Rod,Texeira,and hell the whole Yankee lineup..What a series that would be..

I won't rule out the LA teams either but joe torris face looked like s*** here we go again when werth hit that 3run jack.. If it is philly vs NYY it will be whoever pitches better wil win... Just like it always is, I don't see it being a slugging competition as everyone else might.. It will be up to cliff lee, hammels, cc, and burnett to set the pace for where the series will go.. If they split games one and 2 it will be a long hard fought series...

Man you bring up a good point about the pitching..Both teams are stout on that front.Id say NY has got the edge when it comes to the PEN..I guess i maybe overlooked that with all the HR these jokers hit..Torre did have that look though...LOL..

Even if the angels lose the alcs, I hope they take it to 7 games! If they do sabathia pitches game 7 and won't pitch game one of the world series and may pitch game 2 but will be on short rest, and I think with that killer phillies lineup philly will make him pay for pitching on short rest.. I could see the yanks down 2-0 goin to philly for game 3 if the angels won game 6 and the yanks won game 7. I think game 6 of the ALCS will be the most important game that the yanks will play this year.

d-bags in philly? sure the fans get a little crazy, but we're just that passionate. we boo our players because we demand they try their hardest. if we lost the world series, but we saw all our players go 100%, lay out for plays, and do everything in their power to win, we'd cheer them on. in order to motivate our players, we boo them. and ask former players. they will tell you, philly has some of the greatest fans in the world. i think you might be a little jealous of the phillies success lately. lol
