Been looking around for some dominant outside running plays for Madden 10 and these were the ones I found so far that have outstanding blocking and big play potential:

Goalline off tackle.
SB Y-Trips HB Power (ARI)
Weak Saint's Pitch
GUN Split Power O (best shotgun run in the game)
but my favorite run of the year is: SB Tight Flex off tackle (pass balanced PB only) this play with motion is killer.
basically any off tackle is spectacular this year. cats out of the bag guys lol.
also for those of you still looking around for a PB if you can live without shotty snug/bunch and work with a mediocre shotgun selection, you should look at the CHI playbook. few ppl use it and it has some deadly plays. the most intriguing part of it tho is the Strong y-flex formation. this is the only book where you get offtackle, toss, FB dive, angle route, power O, z spot, 3 good PAs in one formation. i'd hate to have to defend all that from one formation.

Far Tight Twins - Quick Toss
This is by far the hardest play to defend. I was playing this dude that used Dallas and he would line up 2 TE's as the WR's and I couldn't stop the toss. I mean I was there in the backfield but it like the RB's would go straight through my guys I couldn't explain it.

So many people run that far tight twins-quick toss and it is hell to stop if its ran right, especially if the person mix in passes with it 2 keep you off balance. what playbook is it in?

I think it is in Seahawks PB. Man you are hella right if they mix passes forget about it, it is almost impossible to stop.

Ive been using the Quick toss it isnt that great, my friend stops it so damn easily, he jus puts a guy in bloody contain, and it shoots thru and block misses every time.

I like the single back, bunches quick pitch out of West coast, I motion my TE, the middle guy to the right and when he is lined up with the outside receiver I hike and gets great yardage.

any ideas on how to run these with the bigger backs like sjax ??? i can get a toss or two to fly but without that speed guy im sometimes a little hesitant to use tosses.
