if u KNOW it is gonna be a run, and just not sure where it is going, i usually pinch and crash the line, blitz the outside LB's, man the inside lb's to either back or te's, and control the safety to follow the play...i'd say 80% of the time, its a 1-2 yard gain, 10% a loss, 10% more...also, bring in blitzes from wherever he has more presence of blockers...the key is gonna be trying to read his tendencies, where he likes to run in which formations, and trying to shoot those gaps, and there isn't one play to do that for u...its ALL about what your opponent likes to do, and how u are going to adjust your defense at the line to counteract that...unless of course, u want to do the nano blitz thing all day long, but beware, that can also be beaten
