thats wut i use first imma mention im from north carolina and just love my dudes nh but yea i use multiple d becuz u never kno what kind of offense your opponent runs so i need ALL the formations. 3-4 defense works most of the time wen they have 3 receivers and 4-6 for four. cover 2 actually seems to work most of the time in the 3-4 formation (the one with the slant zones) your gonna have to get a feel of your opponent and pay attention to who he likes to pass to. if its 3rd and long play his best receiver manually and MY PANTHERS LOL usually take care of the rest. the 4-6 defense is really good on runs up the middle and four receiver sets. (if he has 5 receivers come out in a dollar defense cover-3 but watch out cuz it only has a 3 man front and its weak on run plays mostly up the middle he'll get like 4 yards to a first down with a good hb so BE CAREFUL) nickel defense typically (i think its 2-2-4) is good for when you're not sure if he's running or passing!
