Broken Tackles

Guys! My defense will improve by leaps and bounds if I can avoid broken tackles. I tend to want to hit the square button when I make contact with the offensive player. Is this wrong? Is there a button that helps you wrap up? Wuk.

I either use square to play it safe, or use push hit stick down and take out their knees.

naw, there isnt a wrap up button, but i found if you dive into the player it helps alot, also be aware that if u go for the knees they can jump over u, so be careful

Broken tackles are killing me 2. I use the Eagles.

broken tackles are killing everyone because a lot of things about this game are broken.

first you have to see who is running wit the F-ball. If it is someone big like B.Jacobs you have to hit stick em' low. If it is a WR or small RB you can dive or hit stick em' high

broken tackles don't really happen to me because i got really good MLB that do a good job at wraping up any wr's any RB's and any running QB

my MLB's are cato june,demeco ryans,brian cushing,zach diles nice line backers not to many broken tackles when i play cuz of those dudes lol

i love breaking tackles when im on the offensive side. My cousin tells me that he can never have tackles for a loss because RB's always break his tackles. I dont really have that problem. I constantly get big game tackles, i normally brake a tackle that is crucial( like 4th an inches in overtime, and take it to the house)

It happens to me sometimes, but it's rare. Contrary to what's really happening right now, the Titans have a good defense.

However, I love breaking 3-4 tackles with CJ en route to an 80-yd TD run.

So I will ask the question on the flipside of the discussion, is there a button to press to break tackles or does it just randomly happen. Is it the hit stick or the A button (360) or what?

I don't know if it's random, but I rotate the hit stick like a mad man. Likely explains why I need a new one already(6 months).

I need a new sticks 2 but I have had mine 4 years and have worn the rubber off of the left stick.

yea, i always try to stiff arm in the open field but it never works so i think its random. seems like they literally make it every other tackle is broken

Try to push the hit stick just before contact for a better initial impact. Then push it again to break that contact. This works in the open field, it is different in traffic. Can't help you there, just keep bumping, I guess.

jus don't use hitstick to much.. but i mostly hitstick low
