Anyone Else Having Trading Difficulties

I find it impossible to trade any player without putting them up on the trading block. When I put up a guy on the trading block I actually get fair/good offers. But whenever I make the offers the only way any teams will accept is if the trade strongly benefits me and screws me over. I have yet to trade in Franchise mode without using the trading block, I just find it impossbiel come up with a fair offer thats benefits boths teams. Is this like that to everyone, or just me?
