what is a da best defense to use to stop the run.

i either use 3-4 or 46 they both usually stop the run for me

I like to use the 46 also but for some reason i cant seem to find a way to stop the outside run

try avoid using 46 unless its like 3rd and 2 or 4th and 1, 46 is a much centered defensive spread making it easy to guess wrong and allow the opponent to run one to the house, best way to stop the run is choosing blitz plays from 4-3, then shifting and crashing your defensive lines toward the way the runner appears to be going, yes misdirections will kill you if your corner bails, but in most scenarios will get the job done.

i run inside blitz and just fill the gaps with the linebackers then carsh the line out, also i run cover 4 just in case of the playaction i show blitz then carsh the line out incase of an outside run then control one of the linebackers...Liquid if u hav any other questions bout stopping the run just message me
