I know everyone has there own Nano blitzes. List them here.

46 Bear Safety Fire
I put it in audibles so I can have more speed on the field. But this is my favorite play.

1) Pick Safety Fire
2) Put your blitzing safety behind your nose tackle.
3) Controlling your safety and when they hike the ball shoot through one of the gaps b/t center and guard. (I usually shoot through b/t the C and RG)

If it isn't working try making adjustments (contains, spy's, etc.)
I run this play mostly if they are under center. Works best on pass plays.

I'm going to have to try this, but if you use the 46 PB I got any nano out of the NIckel: Strong.

Setup:

Shift line left (looking at the screen)
Re-blitz the LDE (looking at the screen)
Show Blitz
Take the Nickel Corner place him next to the LDE and (re)blitz

I tried doing this against a player using the cowboys last night. Pretty much threw on me at will.

Pass defense in this game is horrible.

Yea, bad thing about them they work great if you can get to the QB but if you don't actually get to him or if the offensive reads where the bulk of your blitz is coming from and shifts there line that direction nano's are pretty much gone. But if your playing someone who doesn't like to mess with his plays and you have a fast safety and know how to run in-between your guys they work great.

Positives from Nano's that work: Sacks, turn-overs, Quick incomplete passes, quick 3 and outs.

Negatives from failed nano's: Long gains, Touchdowns, Getting passed on all day,etc

its why my main keys to success is to quickly figure out if the person your playing knows about them and can defend him if so quickly get all nano's out of your head learn his playing style and pick the best time to do so. if they dont nano all day and ball control when you have it. may be low scoring games but hey wins are wins.

I just cant stop the pass in general. Its really difficult to control a guy enough to cover a WR. I generally try to take a LB and cover the middle or a safety if I know they are going to run.

I cant for the life of me stop the pass though. There is always someone wide open no matter what play I am in. Pass defense needs to be tweaked big time. Defenders get burned every play. Even something as simple as bringing in the college football format of jumping the snap, and coverage types. SOMETHING needs to be done. I usually pass for 300+ a game, and same with whoever I am playing unless they stink. In 5 minute quarter game thats a little ridiculous.

try playing your saftey or if there shorter open routes your MLB i know cover 1 controlling ur MLB for the cuts helps me big time. Let your cps play man or the bigger guys and use ur MLB to pick off the shorter in the middle stuff. As for me im horrible at protecting the screen cause i blitz alot. But yea try getting your safety some work run at who evers open more to stop it. and if they need short yardage use your MLB.

I see what you are saying. Just wish the pass defense wasnt so much like swiss cheese. It needs to be fixed by either tweaking defensive line, or making the cover corners not morons. Even when I spotlight a receiver he sometimes comes completely free with no one covering him.

well, you might wanna check your plays and be careful of how your editing them when you hit your bumpers or Y before gameplay you could be causing the player guarding him to blitz or cover something else. cause i haven't really had anyone wide open. Ive had them break tackles and go for huge touchdown gains but never wide open.

One guy I was playing was using the Vikings. He would have harvin wide open on every single play no matter if I had man to man, or zone. I wouldnt switch up the play either. I tried bumping him, playing soft, straight up... nothing worked. It almost felt like a glitch. When I would manually cover him (which was nearly impossible - hes too fast) someone else would be open.

Yeah I dont have problems with guys getting open at all unless they are pure speed WR's like Hester or harvin, they just burn up my D all day until I goto cover 3

even then controlling your saftey a few ed reed 20 yards back deep lol. usually helps against guys like that and people well smart ones wont throw to them in double coverage.

From my experience, corners and safeties are way too slow. I think they need a little tweaking.

out of the 46 playbook go to nickel strong...
Play is fs blitz cover 3 (something like that) .. The LMLB and FS will blitz

Move your MLB over the offensive's left tackle and reblitz him ( hit a then RS down )
Move safety over center and reblitz him (or control him yourself)

my safety usually goes in untouched

i've been running a 46 play that has been pretty successful for me.

46 inside blitz
spread lineman
reblitz both lbs that were blitzing
move them side by side over the nt
bmp and run

normally one of the lbs comes in untouched but if they get blocked either the re or le comes in unblocked and brings heat very fast.

not a good play to use if your opponent like to run outside or use screen plays

a fast nano ive seen... hits the QB before he can even hand off. Which is why I use the NE offense. I see a guy setting on a nano, I let him... Ill even wait until hes done Smile Then ill direct snap to the back and run 80 yards :p

I've been using this play but if the guy reads it quick enough, cus all you need is that milisecond to get it out, your fcked down deep, they always toss it up the gut, cus no ones covering it really, apparently with the raiders it works like a charm because theyre man bump is sick, and holds them off just that second long nuf.
