Mic thread

So, I finally gave in and bought a Bluetooth for $23 on Ebay yesterday so I can use it as a mic with my ps3 AND also for my phone. I'll be ready to lab it up with folks on the site and I'll also be able to run my mouth when I'm playing.

Still, the point of this thread is to find out who on MS is running with a mic and how you use it. Labbing, games, talk trash, friendly, get to know people...? Let's hear it...

You have to sync the bluetooth with the PS3 by going to settings, accessory settings, manage bluetooth devices. Then you have to go thru some steps to sync it, which is like holding down the power button for a certain amount of time.

I got a USB mic and I use it for the chat, talking trash in Call of Duty, and listening to music.

Depends on what kind of mood I'm in but usually I'm drunk talkin s*** on the mic..

i use it for some of everything...i have a bluetooth but im considering gettin the usb EA 1 because of the feedback i produce sometimes on games like COD but madden is fine no feed back but it all depends on who im playin...if they start talkin s*** i will talk too i use it to be friendly and chit chat a lil soft trash talkin and of course to blab bout our site

lol I know how to get it synced up...I was asking "how you use it" in the sense of how people talk on the mic, if it helps them at all, stuff like that...Thanks for the help tho man...You rock the mic?

yea I use one. I'll hit up the mic lobbies and ask for games and tell them to join here. I've talked to a few guys on here with it too

im usually tryna be cool wit my opponent if im on the mic but some dudes be actin like bitches so i talk s*** if they do

I have one, but whether I use it with Madden, it depends. Usually I will only use it when I'm playing with friends no matter what game I'm playing, even Socom, which requires constant communication.

It also depends on whether or not my fiancee' is in the bedroom trying to sleep, in which case I would not use the headset at all, cause I always have a tendency to yell.

I usually don't use it unless my opponent is using one and they seem like a chill dude. I also turn it on and talk mess if someone is trying to cheese and I shut their scheme down.

i only use it when im either labbin wit sumone or wit my friends or sumone from this site..i dont like talkin to sum of the bums online cuz u can get kids that whine bout how ur offense works or anythin.. and sumtimes u get lil kids that r annoyin as hell

usually it's for labbin, cause it's really hard to explain s*** with the on-screen keyboard that it takes 10 minutes to write 1 sentence on.

But yeah, I'm either labbin or just talkin to one of my friends while I play.
