Celtics F Powe out for rest of playoffs

WALTHAM, Mass. (AP)—Boston Celtics forward Leon Powe is out for the rest of the season with a torn knee ligament.

The Celtics are already without Kevin Garnett as they try to defend their unprecedented 17th NBA title.

The Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 118-115 on Monday night to even their best-of-seven first-round series at one game apiece. Powe hurt himself on a spin move but stayed on the court three more minutes trying to play.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is sitting out practice Tuesday and Wednesday with a sprained ankle. But coach Doc Rivers says Rondo will be able to play in Game 3 on Thursday night.

lol mi jus wanna get past the bulls, cause i dont think we gon beat the magic in the second round with the bigs we got healthy

i hate to say this but...."PUT A FORK IN' EM...THEY ARE DONE BABY!" there is no way that the Celtics are gonna beat the Magic or even think about competeting with Lebron and the Cavs w/o their "BIG-BOYS"
