How Do You stop those RB Routes

So There was 1 main RB Routes that almost killed me the whole game.

I got lucky and picked one.

But he would be in a 2 RB SG Formation.

Rb would do that fucking annoying C or w/e

Is there anyone way to shut it down 100% instead of manualing.

Cover 2 would probably shut down the Flat route and if you maybe put a DT in a yellow zone to guard the C route by the other RB but other than that manning up the RB's with your D-Line would shut it down but just wouldn't get pressure on the QB

Man/zone coverage. At least it wasnt both of the C routes.

i try to man up the RB that my opponent is constantly throwing that "C" rte to.

make sure u have person covering the flats and play lineback to pick off the c route usually thats how i do i kno excatly wat u alkin i rin into bums like this all the time

some faggot did this to me like almost half the game I tried picking it but it would go through my LB like twice which pissed me off.

Stop letting him beat you with those routes.
The key to cover the flats are to:
a) Have 1 or more defenders guarding THAT area but, you will be taking away from other resources on the back end or front (Pass Rush)

B) Play the down, field position, clock and distance and determine and choose what are you actually willing to give up.

C) Use your formations. On some formations, defenders either start of a great angle to stop the flats or they are already in direct position to cover it and defend it. Take into account also on who is your defender and who is he defending.

D) Do what everyone else does....Manual everything.

wat u do is put youre end in a purple zone (the one closest to the c route) then put the other end in a qb spy zone(the one farthest away from c route)

This is what i like to do keep him guessing,bring your guys in the box but mix up your coverages..(ex) man,zone,zoneblitz, and so on.
