Single Back Big – HB Dive

a) Flip the Play. Motion the TE.

b) Snap the Ball once the TE gets in the blocking lane. Follow the Blocks.





Single Back Big – HB Delay

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.





Single Back Big – HB Toss Strong

a) Flip the Play. Motion the TE to the left.

b) Snap the ball and follow the blocks.





Single Back Big – Stretch

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball





Single Back Big – Outside Zone

a) See if the defense is playing zone or man coverage.

b) Snap the Ball.

c) Zone, run it inside. Man, run to the outside.





Single Back Big – TE Option

a) Slide Protection to the right.

b) Snap the ball and rollout to the right with the QB.

c) Man Coverage, look for the RB in the flats or the Right Outside WR.

d) Zone, Look for the TE on the left or the Right Outside WR.





Single Back Big – HB Screen

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball

b) Man Coverage, look for the TE on the Out Route going toward the sidelines.

c) Zone, Look for the HB on the screen.





Single Back Big – HB Option

a) See if the defense is in Man or Zone Coverage.

b) Send the TE on the left in motion to the right.

c) Place the TE, which you motioned in a slant going left.

d) Place the RB on a drag going right. Snap the Ball.

e) Man, the RB should be wide open on the drag.

f) Zone, you should have many options if the RB does not get open.





Single Back Big – X Option (One Way)

a) Place your TE’S on drag routes.

b) Snap the Ball.

c) Man, Look for your TE’S on the drag routes.

d) Zone, look for the Delayed Route with the RB or the Right Outside WR.





Single Back Big – X Option (Another Way)

a) Streak your Left TE. Place the Right TE and Right Outside WR on Curls.

b) Snap the Ball.

c) Roll out to the right with the QB.

d) Look for your TE with the rocket catch, pass lead right.

This play is great against people that tend to use the Cover 3 defense.





Single Back Normal – HB Plunge

a) Watch the defense, if the line is not pinched, then run the play as is.

b) No Adjustments, Snap the Ball.

c) Use the Turbo as soon as you begin to run, look for the open lanes.





Single Back Normal – Dual Drags

a) Snap the Ball.

b) Man Coverage, look for the RB going to the left flat or the outside WR’S on their routes.

c) Zone Coverage, Look for the Right Outside WR.





Single Back Normal – HB Option

a) Snap the Ball.

b) Man Coverage, look for the Left Outside WR, kills man coverage.

c) Zone Coverage, look for the RB on his route, his route is also good against

man coverage.





Single Back Normal – Curl Flats

a) Place the RB on the delayed route to a streak.

b) Motion the RB to the left. Have the Right TE to block.

c) Snap the Ball.

d) Man and Zone, look for the Right Outside WR.





Single Back Normal – TE Option Out

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.

b) Man Coverage, look for the TE or the Left Inside WR.

c) Zone Coverage, look for TE.





Single Back Normal – PA HB Look

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.

b) Man or Zone Coverage, look for the Right Outside WR or the RB, this play

is great against man coverage.





Single Back Normal – Slot Cross

a) Place your best WR at Left Inside WR position.

b) Highlight the Right Outside WR.

c) Snap the Ball. Man and Zone, look for the Left Inside WR route, most

times it can be a 15 yard gain.





Single Back Normal – Slant Corner

a) Place your best WR at Slot WR.

b) Snap the Ball. Man and Zone, look for the Slot WR.





Single Back Normal – Flanker Shake

a) Place your best WR at Slot WR.

b) Place the Right Outside WR to a streak.

c) Place the Left Outside WR and TE on Curl Routes.

d) Place the RB on a slant going left.

e) Snap the Ball

f) Man, Look for the TE on the curl or the Slot WR.

g) Zone, Left Outside WR.





Single Back Normal – Safety Bait

a) See if the defense is in Man or Zone.

b) Have your RB do a Streak. Then motion your RB to the right.

c) If defense is Man, Hot Route your TE to a slant going right. If defense is

zone, then have your TE help with blocking.

d) Snap the Ball

e) Man, look for the TE you placed on the slant or the Right Outside WR.

f) Zone, look for the Right Outside WR.





Single Back Normal – HB Screen

a) Place the Slot WR on a block.

b) Snap the Ball. Sprint back, and then roll to the left with the QB.

c) This play is great against zone, watch the blocks and get to the HB, if he

is blocked, then look for the Rocket Catch with the two Outside WR’S.





Single Back Bunch TE – HB Dive

a) Place the Right Outside WR in motion to the left.

b) Snap the Ball when the motion man gets behind the Center.

c) Follow the Blocks.

This running plays is better if the defense is in zone.





Single Back Bunch TE – HB Sprint

a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.

b) Follow the Blocks.





Single Back Bunch TE – PA Draw Pass

a) Place the Right Outside WR on a streak.

b) Snap the Ball.

c) Man, look for the Right TE or the Right Inside WR. The TE on the delay

route is also another great read.





Single Back Bunch TE – Slant Attack

a) Place your best WR in the Right Inside WR position.

b) Snap the Ball.

c) Man, look for the RB going into the flats or the Right Inside WR.

d) Zone, look for the right side TE route.





I Form Twin TE – FB Dive

a) Place your strongest RB at FB position. Place your fastest RB at RB position.

b) Motion the Left Outside TE to the right.

c) Snap the Ball once the TE is between the LT and LG.

Watch the defense, if they have less then 8 men in the box, don’t run this play. If

the defense run commits, look at breaking away to the left outside





I Form Twin TE – HB Off Tackle

a) Place your strongest RB at FB position.

b) Place your fastest RB at RB position.

c) Flip the Run, not the play, to run to the left side of the field.

This is a good run play to use when the defense has 8 men in the box, you can try and run up the middle or

break to the outside.





I Form Twin TE – HB Lead Toss

a) Place your strongest RB at FB position.

b) Place your fastest RB at RB position.

c) Slide Protect Aggressive.

d) Place the Right Outside TE in motion to the right.

e) Snap the Ball once the motioned TE begins to motion.

This is a great running play when the defense is stacking the box or the defense is

using 46 bear defense. Run this play every once in a while, but can be a huge gain if

ran at the right time.





I Form Twin TE – HB Screen

a) Place your strongest RB at FB position. Place your fastest RB at RB position.

b) Make sure your best WR and TE’S are in the play

c) Place your Right Outside WR on an Out Route. Extend his route.

d) Place the Inside TE on a Curl Route.

e) Block with the FB going right.

f) Motion the Outside TE to the left.

g) Snap the Ball when your TE begins to go in motion.

h) Run back with the QB and a little to the right.

h) Look for the HB Screen, if he is covered then get the ball to the TE that

you motioned on the Rocket Catch, throw the TE a bullet pass with lead up

while you hold the LT/L2 button.





I Form Twin TE – Short Slant

a) Place your strongest RB at FB position. Place your fastest RB at RB position.

b) Make sure your best WR and TE’S are in the play

c) Place the Inside TE on a streak route.

d) Snap the Ball.

e) Man/Zone, Look for the RB in the flats or the Right WR with the Slant

going inward. If not look for the TE you sent on the streak for the Rocket

Catch. Throw the TE a bullet pass up and hold down the LT/L2 button.

i run the RNG playbook also and i am already very familiar with many of these plays and i run many of them differently as well. thanks for the post.
