Does awareness rating have any effect when u are manually controlling a player?

i was going through the rosters today with my friend and i was checking out the awareness ratings.

He said it doesn't really matter , and i started to think if i user the qb every play, then who cares what his awr is right?

Its mostly used for the CPU. Hopefully they will add more depth with the ratings in 2010.

not true.. the play recognition rating is what determines the smart qb weapon

play recognition is for defensive players awareness is for both its awareness that detemines the smart qb not PR

I think awareness only affects overall and whether you become a smart qb or not
