My Offensive Guide Empty
PostSubject: My Offensive Guide   My Offensive Guide Empty2009-01-01, 22:27

Hey everyone,

Ive been reading some posts on here and well it seems like a lot of you need some offensive help!! Well i am going to try and help you as best as i can. First off my psn i.d is stealthmode1209 hit me up if you want to practice this stuff or just wanna lab. I play with the Eagles most of the time but I also like the Panthers and Ravens. To run a good offense you have to know what offensive weapons certain aspects can help you with. For example, when i play with the eagles I have jackson, curtis and brown. These are my 3 main recievers and they are all fast!! this means drag routes, post routes, cross routes, slant routes will take a shorter periodof time to develop which in turn helps your whole offense. Now for my offensive scheme...I play with the NE offensive playbook (If you want defense go to the defensive forum) and normally people i play online cant get me out of the shotgun. Shotgun-Doubles is in my opinion one of the hardest formations to defend in this game. First off with the Eagles you have desean jackson, a 98 overall in speed, so i use shotgun-doubles-FL screen (flipped so jackson gets the screen) because with jackson in space whoaaaa! he is dangerous. Curtis also works well with this play. Another great play out of this formation is shotgun-doubles-slants because of your speedy recievers. Now this is the key to slants...first off let them develop i have seen so many people run this play and throw it right after the snap like the defense is in man coverage every play...this is wrong. WATCH YOUR OPPONENTS LINEBACKERS!!! if they drop back in a zone it is a zone if they follow your recievers off the line or blitz then it is man and you can get rid of the ball. This is very important to your success in any pass play. IF THE DEFENSE'S LINEBACKERS ARE IN ZONE OR EVEN THERE WHOLE DEFENSE LET YOUR RECIEVERS RUN THEIR ROUTES!!! wait until you find a window or opening in their zone because there is always a whole!! OK so now for some more plays, if you notice your defense is in zone alot and there linebackers are dropping back...drop this play on them...shotgun-doubles-mid draw (flipped and slide protection to aggressive) if there in zone then this is an easy 5 yards. This is a preview of what i can help you with online or on here just message me or hit me up on ps3 once again my psn i.d is stealthmode1209 hit me there or message me on here!!

Peace

on ur gun doubles FL Screen try motioning ur RB to the side that the screen is gona go to i guess ur left since u flip the play... i use the pats playbook and do this and it helps so much cuz the RB is already set to block but u motion him out and hes just closer to where he needs to be and sets up the play faster.
