Plays To Stop the Rocket Catch ?

The Rocket Catch always seems to beat me when ever i play...does anyone have any plays to stop the streak rocket catch or the out route rocket catcch ? if you do please post. Thanks.

purple zones. they DEFINITELY help. i usually have my slot corners in a purple zone if im expecting an RC, but you have to reposition them to the sidelines a little, so they have a head start.

i cant think of the names of any of the plays i use right now. but definitely a lot of nickel normal and dime flat.

the only other way i can think of to stop the RC for sure is to RC with your defenders, yourself. haha - if you do it right it works every time haha.

super swat. thats just strafe and the swat button. it usually causes the midair collision.

Dont think there is a difference. Forgot to say never try to user pick RC's unless you have tall cb's... always swat or strip.

So ow guarenteed are these methods to work?

If you watch when someone swats the ball it looks like they jump higher then hitting the user catch.

Sometimes a lot of people will try to abuse the rc, so I will put my tallest WR's at cb just to get them to stop.

if you no when they are going to rc then jsut to a 2 man under or some man coverage and do bump and run to throw off the timing..

What about if you think they MIGHT RC but they also might do something else?

Thats what the offense is supposed to make you do. Second guess yourself. Position your players where you think they will RC then lurk with someone like a safety or LB. To break up plays over the middle.

I use 46-Bear Zone Read (With Dime Personell) or dime-flat zone blitz. Also im getting pretty good at the defensive RC.

I use 4-3 Zone blitz and another one i use is Dime flat zone man 3 or
fire blitz or cover 2 it really works and nickle 3-3-5
