Who are you voting for and why in this election? McCain or Obama. I would love to hear a long explanation from everyone. Do not attack someone because of who they voted for or what their beliefs are, just tell us a little about why you are voting for McCain or Obama. Also vote in our poll.

I early voted and I voted for Barrack Obama. I don't have a clear or good reason why I did it other than just the way he inspires people and the way he has brought hope to so many people.

Obama and his ideas

Obama will destroy economy. If u make over a certain amount of money i think 200k or somethin u get uber taxed. If u make a small amount of money the government PAYS u the tax money that the hard workers made. this is socialistic and wrong

Basically we are voting for vice presidents.

McCain can die at any time due to that cancer that he as and hes effin old.

Obama will get assassinated. But anyways i was OBAMA! and its not because he black

lots of reasons not to choose obama and not as many not to choose mccain. neither of them are great choices but id go with mccain.

both obama and mccain are better than the option we had last election. kerry and bush were both terrible.

I will be voting for Ron Paul.

this election i will be voting for Obama....and it's not because he's black...but whoever wins they're gonna have a hard time gettin this country out of this state...

I hate the idea of what Barack wants to do, even though it'd help me, I just don't think that it's right. He's tryin to be like Robin Hood. It's like, if I get an a on my report card, and then my teacher decides to make my grade a be so that the kid with a D can have a C and pass.

But it would help me, because I'd get a bunch of money from it.

And I do agree that we need change, just not that change...

So who should I vote for?

Listen, this is the Land of the Free, but we're all Americans.

I'm a super humanitarian, and I'm sick of greed ruining this country. If you haven't noticed it, take a look around.

This whole economic crisis was caused by something called credit default swaps, basically it's an unnecessary insurance agreement for loans. it's said to be a $60 Billion industry, that underhandedly took out Lehman Brothers, AIG, and all those other larger financial institutions. The rich have too much power for too long, and I'm sure 99% of the population wants to be rich, but that's impossible.

You have to understand that MOST republicans (like Bush, McCain, and Palin) truly believe in the trickle down effect. where the rich get taxed less, with the theory that because of this they will spend more money and help stimulate the economy. but do they? doesn't seem like it.

We need to give more opportunities to the low and middle class citizens, thats what America should be all about, equality. I mean I understand this country is pretty much based on the free market economy, but looks what it's done to us. People try to make as much money as possible, so they cut corners, ship jobs over sees, take advantage of the week basically.

We need change, it's that simple. Barack Obama '08, please, please, please. This election is for the soul of America, and I'm not even joking in the slightest.

and dont even get me started on foreign policy.

i mean if you ask me, the priorities should go like this:

1. The domestic economic crisis.
2. Foreign affairs
3. Health care (a huge deal these days)

I think the President needs to take care of the issues at home first, but after that we need to start repairing all the damage we've done to our reputation across the world. Mostly the Middle East. The Prime Minister in Iraq has approved Barack's exit strategy, and I think that's enough. We've spent our time there, and did way more than we ever should have. We shouldn't even be considering going into Iraq, let alone anxious about it (Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran? McCain, thats really damn scary).

This might just be because I watched fight club last night, but wouldn't it be cool if they just erased the debt records, money records, and everything of who was rich and who was poor.

Then everybody would be on ground zero, everybody would have a fair shot to take advantage of this opprotunity, the ones who then worked hard would be the rich, and the ones who deserved to be poor, poor.
