i feel your pain. they gave up three picks for tebow. mclain to oakland was a suprise b/c mr davis never drafts linebackers in the first round. al must have been a sleep during the draft. ,but hell f'ing yeah im very happy with this pick.

After all the Broncos trading they actually gained a 3rd round draft pick even by getting Thomas and Tebow in the first round

i thought the raiders might go with jimmy clausen or a tackle like bruce campbell but i think its a good pickup for them, but my only concern is can you rebuild a suffering raiders program with a linebacker? also still scratching my head over houston not scoopin up kyle wilson i though he'd go way higher than he did, i realize kareem jackson is pro ready and all but the boy wilson is hawk man, im real happy with the eagles pickup in brandon graham now we got two high motor guys commin off the edge.

I must say I feel really bad for jag fans cause the pick to me seems dumb.

i think the jags pickup will come through the guy was out of position as a 5 technique in cals system now that you kick him inside as a DT i think he'll do better i think thats more of his real position, i wouldnt be unhappy if i was a jags fan i think its a iffy pick but im sure he'll come through he's a high character guy and has a motor that doesnt shut off, also you pair him with knighton the big guy out of temple and you have a really dominant D-line, now if harvey can really elivate his game i think the eniter jags defense gets better, but with this pickup does that mean big john henderson is up for trade?

i was pissed the **** off all night last night over this pick, but i have calmed down some today bc im not an NFL scout and gene smith had a good draft last yr. so im just going to trust the judgement on this one, bc if it works out and he is a good shoot-the-gap-style dt that can pressure the qb and we have kampman who can hopefully push harvey to perform better our defense could be a lot better.. we will see though bc thats a lot of "if's"

and yes they are shopping john henderson. trying to put together some type of package that gets them a pick in the 2nd round

look at like im lookin at the eagles situation i was a lil mad they didnt scoop up thomas but graham will help the pass rush and the pass rush will help the backers and secondary, it all starts with the line if you have a dominant line you can really set the tone on defense, now you have a guy that is really hard to move in knighton and a really disruptive guy in alualu, then mix in kampman and harvey commin off the edge and bam you gotta nice pass rush it then helps out the secondary alot, i dont look down on this pick at all, he's gotta great punch and is stout at the point of attack, i think tyson alualu is gonna suprise some people.

i think he bring more to the table right now than orton or quinn but orton knows the system and quinn's been in the league longer than tim wich is why i think tim wont start, but if he does it wouldnt suprise me.

I would rather they keep henderson to mentor the 2 young DT's. Unless they trade up for someone that they had valued as a first round talent that falls very far.

yeah i would have no problem keeping henderson, but if they can trade him and grab a safety like allen from south fla, maybe even daryl washington from tcu would be a good pick to play lb in the 2nd round, then i would be good with that.. gotta stay young on defense. plus if you just want a mentor for yound d lineman that role could fall to kampman

if theres any doubters about the jags pickup go watch his 1 on 1 in the senior bowl vs. i believe mike iupati, good stuff.

if the jags could pick up the safety from ga tech, morgan bunett, in the 2nd round i would be pumped abt that as well bc i think he will turn out to be a big time safety in the league.. any of these players i would give up john henderson for as he is now i think 31 or 32 and on the downside of his career.. football is a young man's game

yeah i know im debating about when im gonna do it though i want all the new guys like sims and graham in it in uniform i dont want guys in practice stuff or anything so im waiting to get the right pictures for them, in the mean time i might make a sig saluting all the players leaving the eagles, or just throw up a RIP JJ picture. the new sig ima make with all the new players is gonna be epic though!

every jags fan needs to go to easports.com and give alualu the 5 bonus pts in all categories haha.. maybe the ratings guy will bump his stats up some then bc i think he is like a 69 ovr right now

yeah i think thats a little rediculous 69? i mean cmon man! i think like 75-79 range, i mean he was a high draft pick. i think he'll get some love once they start playin though.

i hope so and we gotta get into this 2nd round.. there are so many good players left its gonna suck watching every other team pick while jax doesnt pick again til the 3rd

yeah the eagles pick twice in the 2nd im real happy, they needa find a way to get back in the third though, maybe trade vick or trade your 4th's to get back in the third if they could keep there 2 second rounders and get back into the third it would be very good for the eagles.
