middle linebacker

Who is your favorite LB to roam with other then P.Willis for obvious reasons? I personally have had great success with nick barnett.

Jon Beason is amazing. i never miss a tackle with him, and i can get a lot of user picks with him, too.

I dont roam with linebackers, but when i do i usually use either D Ware or Williams from the Cowboys (i forgot Williams first name) but he has 87 speed

i usually user my FS but i if i had to pick a linebacker to roam with i would choose stewart bradley cuz of his height, tackle rating, and his hit power rating, or i would go akeem jordan cuz of his speed.

Dumervil/DJ Williams. Both are super quick and have awesome tackle ratings.

Actually I dont even use Nick barnett, hes too freakin slow, I move AJ hawk there. My vote goes to Laranitus for the rams (yea I said it LOL) and bulluck for the titans. Of course ray ray is still da man when it comes to MLB.

I need to start roaming with the LB's. I've been playing with the DT every since I started playing video games (Tecmo Bowl. lol). I've been labbing with the MLB lately, but I'll start using them online in 3rd down situations. As for the question, I would have 2 go with P. Willis. ( no explaination needed)

I play as the Bengals and put Maualuga @ MLB, and user him. Good tackling & hit power!

if i was using the bengals and i had to use a backer i would deffinetly use brandon johnson, he's like 6'5 with 82 speed, crazy good for usering.

i wish the benglas had a better secondary, id use em.

there corners are beastly but the safties do fall off a bit but im sure if you gotta good scheme you'll be able to see past that.

for those who play the 3-4 which linebacker do you use on the inside "mike"or"will"

Yea the bengles CBs to cause a lot of turnovers, I am glad someone said Morrison form the riaders hes a sleeper hes lightning fast. In a 3-4 its ray ray all day

Bengals do have a solid secondary what are you talking about. The African safety and just put Trent or Nelson at FS and you're n the pocket. Bengals have the best defense on that joint.

There are a few things I consider first:

1. Play Call
If I am running a blitz that includes 1 of my MLBs, I will probably user the other MLB to help cover the middle of the field.

2. Ball Position
If the ball is placed on one side of the field before the snap, I will usually user the MLB on the larger side of the field

3. Offensive Players
If I feel a player on the offense deserves my respect and needs to be man covered, I will user the MLB that guards that player (usually a RB or a TE)

4. Overall Skill
I will usually user the lesser of the two MLBs. I know the AI will make less mistakes with the better of the two MLBs
