STREAKS

IN THE PERVIOUS YEARS MY STREAK PLAYS WHERE DAMN NEAR MONEY, i USE THE PANTHERS AND STEVE SMITH USUALLY BURNS ANYBODY COVERING HIM. BUT SINCE 2010 NO MATTER IF MY RECIEVER HAS A HIGHER SPD AND ACC RATING I CANT SEEM TO CONNECT ON MY STREAK PASSES EITHER OVERTHROWN, DB JUMPS OVER MY BACK AN INT'S ME, OR PLAY IS BROKEN UP, ONLY COMPLETE STREAKS IF COVERAGE IS BLOWN, ANT TIPS OR ADVICE????

not sure but i think it might be a qb problem i dont think the panthers deep ball acc is too great. maybe delhomme would be better if your not using him already.. but it really is a matter of just finding a way to break down the coverage and find that opening. depending on streaks isnt the greatest idea though, youll get picks galore if you try to force it.

How about, quit relying on streaks to win a game of Madden.. If all you used to do was send Steve Smith on a streak and lob it up to him, you were a bum.. And now that they have fixed that you cant compete

BUM WOW, RELY ON ONE PLAY WOW, ACTUALLY I'LL POKE HOLES AND EXPLOIT MOST DEFENSES, IT IS THE STREAK THAT HASN'T BEEN AVAILABLE IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS THAT SLANTS CROSSING ROUTES AND DEEP POST WERE GETTING COVERED PRETTY GOOD AND I NEEDED SEVERAL YARDS FOR A TD OR 3RD AND LONG. SO GO F**K YOUR SELF, I ASKED FOR ADIVCE NOT NAME CALLING.

ITS NOT JUST, DEL HOMME TO STEVE, ITS ROMO TO WILLIAMS OR AUSTIN MCNABB TO JACKSON, BRADY TO MOSS ( ACTUALLY I'VE HAD BETTER SUCCESS WITH MOSS) IT JUST SEEMS THAT IF YOUR RECEIVER HAS 95 PLUS SPEED AND THE DB HAS 85-89 SPD YOU'LL THINK YOU WOULD BURN THE DB MORE OFTEN.

Not if they are playing a cover 3 or any type of zone for that matter.. Then you will actually have to have a scheme to beat the defense, rather than throwing a lob pass to Steve Smith 50 yards down field every play

Gotta understand some stuff

1) You need to be in man coverage with no safety help over the top to have a chance to succeed. This means you must face a Cover 0 or Cover 1.

2) As soon as you lob the ball, switch to the receiver and sprint toward the spot where it'll land. That's where you use your speed.

3) Obviously, with Steve Smith, you won't get a lot of deep balls. I'm a Panthers user and his 5pi9 frame is smaller than most DBs. However, against sub-90 speed CBs, you have a chance to get it.

4) Try using plays with a streak already designed in it. The straight line isn't as good as the one where your receiver drifts toward the sideline.

Im sorry, it just brought back memories of when i wasnt that good at Madden and i would play somebody who would lob streaks to Randy Moss every game and he would catch 50% of them.. Once again, sorry for calling you a bum, im a little bit quick to the trigger, as a lot of people on here already know

You need to learn the defense and what there playing is it man or zone and what kind of zone. The have made it where you need to know the D and find the holes in those zones. Just mix up your play and try to get the other guy to second guess what where your going and hit those holes.



Yeah gotta hate the love you get on here. There are lots of guys quick to call you a BUM when you asking for help. It's not like the guy is playing goal line from his side of the field all the way for a T.D.

my bad too, maybe i over reacted about calling me a bum. i do like the advice im getting from yall. I remember last year on 09, there was a guy who used randy moss like crazy with the streaks and totally abused my D, he had him in the slot, wide left, wide right. man that dude burned me with the streak. But what i like to do is a lot of hot routes, and i always send one guy, usually one of the wideouts on a streak, and i damn near never can get a completion if i do lob one up. I love to put steve smith in the slot, cause he is short, and fast and crosses through zones like crazy, and burns most db's through the middle of the field. I'll try to find plays that already have streak that fade, i usually change that cause i kept throwing the ball slightly out of bounds on those streaks. and i tried to use pass lead to get the rec, to fade himself or controll the receiver to fade manually, ill try it and let you know......
