Good post. I use Cover 2 to nano from this formation. Just blitz the 2 MLBs and put them both in A gap side by side. Then I like to manually control the safety in the yellow zone and cover the middle slants and such. It gets instant pressure and the flats are covered pretty well with this play.

alman i do that exact same thing from the cover 2 from time to time, its great cause you dont have too worry about the flats. sometimes i will even make it my run stopping play if they come out in a run formation just maybe throw a contain to the strong side. user the safety. i also use cover 3 as my base defense outa that formation. i will flip the play according too which side i want the blitzing LB too be and i will take him and either user him put him in flats purple or w/e.

my strong run stopping plays for any type of run is outa this formation too i do the zone monster 3, and the man one. not sure if its called monster 3 but its something moster Lol. very simple same setup as the cover 2 just dont really need too re blitz the mlbs.

I run this play a lot with A gap pressue but i drop the rde (left of screen) and lolb (right of screen) back in coverage and i spread the safties zones(triangle + right stick up) and user fs over the middle. it gets just as much heat with two more people in coverage

I meant rolb and lde instead of rde and lolb

ya ezell same way i run that nano.. you dont need the other two rushers they are kind of useless.. but if you play a rolling QB put one or both of them in contain and you lock the QB up
