ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

In the first few weeks of the NFL and several rookies have already made their statement in the NFL.

CHRIS JOHNSON
DESEAN JACKSON
FELIX JONES
MATT FORTE
EDDIE ROYAL
DARREN MCFADDEN

SO WHO DO U GUYS THINK WILL WIN ROOKIE OF THE YR. I SAY MATT FORTE OR DESEAN JACKSON.

It's down to three people pending they all stay healthy,

Desean Jackson
Matt Forte
Matt Ryan

Personally I think any one of these three can take it, Felix Jones I think doesn't have that great of a chance being as he has Barber in front of him... they may be splitting time but he would really have to impress some people to get it. Now, don't rule Chris Johnson out, I do like him ( I do like the Titans as well) I just don't think that they are a good enough team for him to be "Reconized" unless he does some spectacular stuff this year. I really think it is down to Jackson, Forte, and Ryan, and if you want to go deeper than that I think it is Ryan and Jackson, becuase I don't think Forte can keep up the way he played last night. Just my personaly opinion I hope all five of those guys do real well cause it's about time that we have a good rookie class to watch.. agreed?

i saw eddie royal last night and he looked real strong. but im expecting his numbers to decline because marshall will be back. darren mcfadden dissappointed but its only the 1st game of season.

well i hope it will be chris johnson but it will prolly end up being forte or desean

there is no way desean jackson will be rookie of the year. he had one good game. he will be the #3 or 4 wr the rest of the year.

Eddie Royal Kills Deanglo Hall. Then catches TD and the 2 pointer to beat the Chargers back to back. I am sorry but as Cutler EXPLODES this year Royal is lookin pretty nice.

mcfadden just had a monster game n desean had another 100yd receiving game. forte should had over 100yds rushing this week but his 20 n 25 yrd run was called back because of penalties.yet he still had 92yds n but im definetly going with desean, forte n chris johnson.

lol desean also had the dumbest move of the week, cost himself a touchdown.

I think Eddie Royal has it, i said from the get go after what he did to the Raiders secondary really D.Hall that he was the next big time reciever. As far as Matt Ryan, he aint winning crap. Everybody getting amped up after his first game, NEWS FLASH, TURNER AND NORWOOD WON THE GAME NOT RYAN, all he did was hand the ball off and spare me his first NFL pass for a TD, if the CB would have looked in the backfield it would have been a pick going the other way, and after everybody jump on his nutsack what happen against Tampa, first 9 passes 0-9 and 2ints finished the game 13-31, 156 yards and 2ints not ROOKIE OF THE YEAR STATUS, I said before and I will say it again, when you throe 19ints your senior year, in a 10 game COLLEGE SEASON, you are not an elite NFL future QB, NO elite NFL QB threw 19ints in a college season, NOT EVEN JAY CUTLER AND HE WENT TO VANDERBILT WHICH HAS LESS TALENT THAN BOSTON COLLEGE. I rest my case.

MaddenKing57 I agree with you 100%. Matt Ryan is way overrated. When you have a RB that runs for 220 yards in a game then you better come away with the win. 19 ints in your senior season of college football. Come on guys quit riding his nuts b/c YOU want to see him succeed. Desean Jackson became the second receiver in NFL History to record to back to back 100 yd games. The last time that was done was like 1940 guys. My list: Chris Johnson, Matt Forte, DMAC, Desean Jackson if (McNabb stays healthy)

I JUST PUT MATT RYAN OUT THERE BECAUSE HE HAD A GOOD GAME BUT IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS IT STILL LOOKS AS IF FORTE, JOHNSON, MCFADDEN ,OR JACKSON WILL GET IT.

i personally dont think he's overated. i guess the next couple of weeks will prove something.

i think he is wayyyyy overrated.

but hes also scrwed cuz he plays for the falcons.

desean is goin to have a big season and i kno even with their two so called big time recievers comin back desean will still be playin 2nd or 3rd and even at third he will play in the slot and dominate

dats very true wes welker played 3rd string last year and had 112 catches and a 1000yrds.

Jackson is pretty much the flavor of the month, 16 games in a long season and there have been only 2 games played. After 2 games he may be the ROY, but see what he does over the season. Watch out for the O-lineman Jeff Otah on the Panthers.

they wont give an o lineman rookie of the year

Adrian Peterson's monster year last year was the reason he won it. Joe Thomas came in 2nd. We can almost all agree that Jackson won't have a similar impact that Peterson had. All I am saying is watch out for Otah.

i dnt think limas sweed will get rookie of the year hes not having an impact like some of the other rookies r but hey u never knw there is a long season ahead of us.

Royal is beasting currnetly dont count him out.
