WR Superstar

I created a WR in superstar mode and i was wondering if theyre was anyway to beat man coverage, everytime they press coverage i end up getting stuck at the line and never get thrown to. I understand the r-stick to make cuts but it still doesnt work to well(maybe im using them wrong) im 87 overall and have a decent realese attribute 74 i think? Is there anything else i can do? or just run a route i can normally run and hope Peyton(i play for the colts) can undestand wtf im trying to run
