46 Bear vs 1-5-5

Ok here is the deal I played a guy who ran that 1-5-5 d and my self i ran the 46 last night I just started to use the 46 bear.

I won the game 30-11 I had like 5 interceptions and like 7 sacks. I had defenders coming out of the woodwork on him.

even I didn't know how my defenders was getting through I used the jags on him.

he ran the 1-5-5 I it was kind of hard at first to get by it but once I got the hang of it it was a piece of cake.

OK people so what defence do you think is better.

46 for life

1 - 5 - 5 is for ppl who dont kno how to stop a dam pass play its sucks agaisnt the run then mix in a pa bootleg

Also I found out that the 46 bear def-fence destroys the wild cat I play a person that was all they run I hate that #$%%^#$& when people do that but they paid for in full.

46 = TUFF

i hate playin against the 1-5-5 cuz u never kno where the pressure will come from.. u have all those ppl in the box and in a bunch of different spots.. u have no clue where pressure will come from.. a good nano out of 1-5-5 is killer.. i have a 6 man rush nano that gets 2 thru the line.. one from the outside and one thru the a gap.. just needs a few tweaks..

i would call it even each has its weaknesses and strengths. I have been a firm 46 believer but i have been having so much success stopping the run with 1-5-5 that its not even funny, not to mention it can bring heat man.

yeah but what about the big sets?? like goaline and strong I ...I know 1-5-5 is not effective against those formations.

1-5-5 is actually really effective against goaline they shoot through imediately if u blitz it right

I been play nothing but people who use 1-5-5 what is the the 1-5-5 d invasion

It's not affective against the off tackle goaline and Id put money on that

its atchually solid vs any goalline run play i use 1 5 5 vs goalline and wild cat thats it but it kicks wildcats a$$ all day long

LOL. Are you serious. I use 1-5-5 as my GOALINE defense. It's only weakness is qb sneak. Let's play a game so i can change your mind about that statement. I play dime, 1-5-5. 3-4 and odd split as my primary defensive formations. I really don't like 46 because it takes to long to set up. Even 4 me, and i have some of the fastest fingers out there. Believe me.

I prefer the 46. Both formations are great, but I go with my personnel and it's better in the 46 than the 1-5-5.
