Madden online is getting boring and stupid.

Playing these long ass games get you bored quickly, 5 min with acc clock was so much better. It feels like ur playing forever sometimes and if u play against someone who doesnt run the ball it takes even longer. The main reason is its getting stupid, i guess its becasue i play ppl with really good records and Im like hmmmmmmmm i wonder why a guy with a rec of 90-20 is playing me with a rec of 80-30, then BAM the first offense of play is HBDS and he gets 40 yards. Then ppl start running schemes with this s*** and now i have to worry about the gay HBDS while stoping hes sucky offense. Has any notice that anyone that uses the HBDS alot has like no skill or user, their other plays work because of the HBDS. For like the last 15 games ive played ppl used the NE pb(of course) and abuse the HBDS play. And when u see 3 WR 1 TE 1 RB u know ur fucked, its that one formation that just MIND FUCKS you, and as soon as u see it u try ur best to defend the hbds but it fails because they throw it in randomly with there other plays from that ONE formation.

(EA it would make it alot easier if they just patched it out.)

i agree! since EA added that 7 min clock (i don't know why) i rarely play madden10 now. i have moved back to NCAA10.

I agree... I have only played offline franchise since it went up to 7 minutes.. The part that sucks is you can play those chumps who go no huddle and you dont get the 15 second run off so it takes even longer.

I don't like it cause I used to be able to come home on my lunch break and bang out 3 or 4 games. Now it's 1 or 2 if I'm lucky.

HBDS is pretty bull, nobody ever barely uses it in the NFL. It's like the over-effective nature of the screen in the game... what they need to do is-put the chance of fumbling the snap because it goes directly to the HB constantly and make screens fall incomplete more. Despite being an easy pass, it gets botched so much in the NFL due to the odd throwing angle, blocking set up and defensive pressure.

haha yea i hate 7 min qtrs but im in a league, LEX, that has 6 min qtrs no accel clock.. so those games r even longer.. i would rather have it be 5 mins but when u play 7 min games u get to see whos really better.. sumtimes ppl lose games cuz they cant stop the opponents o til like the 3rd qtr, now u got more time to stop the o and gives u a better chance to win.. but also it can give ur opponent more time to exploit ur schemes.. now i believe that u need MORE plays and schemes to beat good players..

Yeah I definitely dont play as much as I use to. 7 mins is waay 2 long and I find myself bored as s*** when the 4th qrt rolls around.

ppsh i sold madden 10... got better things to do... Ea has failed out of my like 17 games i played online.. it all sucked... and no its not cuz i suck... i went like 14-3.. so its w.e

damn on your lunch break you can play 3-4 GAMES HOW LONG WAS YOUR BREAK... 3 HOURS!

7 min quarters suck!!!

lol.. no sh!t. how can you get in 3 - 4 games during a lunch break. i used to be able to eat a quick lunch and play a game in 1 hour w 5 min qtrs.

hah well my job is like this, I get paid for the hours I have scheduled. So I start at 8 and if I have free time, I'm not obligated to be there. So I used to have a cluster of 2 hours free time with my lunch in between. So it wasn't exactly your standard lunch break lol. Sorry for the confusion.

yup is was playin a lvl 14 or something other day..figured it be a good game and i blew him out next thing i know its 38-7 at the end of 1ST qtr then i realized fuc i got this gm won and gotta wait anothber 3 qtrs..new 7 mins sucks.

Yea whos big idea was 7 minute quarters. The quarters have been 5 minutes for as long as I can remember. Why fix something that isnt broke.... What a dumb change.

im guessin they made it that way to try to offset the accel clock?? lol but idk if aythin id say 6 mins not 7.. 09 games used to take me like 45 mins for a full game but these 7 min qtr games r takin me at least an hour for a full game.. they never shoulda messed wit sum of the s*** they tried to patch.. this and the slants out of the backfield..

Everyone is pissed off at the seven minute quarters. Since they started this Im not sure I have completed one game due to people quitting on me or an occasional BS disconnect. It really has taken the fun out of online. With all the complaints and disconnects Im sure EA will go back to 5 minutes. Until then I guess more playing against the computer and rockband for me.

I think 7 mins is great, you actually get to execute a gameplan and feel like you are playing a complete game now.
