WILLIS IS BETTER

willis is younger so he has more time to prove himself as an elite LB. Tho he is good right now, Urlacher is great. Give Willis time.

Urlacher is better than willis right now but willis might be better once later on in his career.

This is a no brainer like there is no comparison...randy jackson breaks down lbs on nfl network urlacher neva makes false step and willis does...because he has good range....same range as urlacher but not better he can make up for that at times but urlacher u game plan for willis u dont straight up...no knock on his skills he is an excellent young player...give em 5 yrs to get to urlachers level.

all lbs over persue urlacher is the better lb...the advantage that willis has is that he has a hall of fame lb coach mike singletary who is a beast of a coach...he was micked up for the senior bowl i would love to play for him but urlacher is still my guy...willis is young but wise for his position as well i jus like urlacher if i was picking right now

Urlacher at this time. Give Willis 2 more years and he will be considered one of the best linebackers, that is without injuries or failing drug tests

Urlacher has the advantage over Willis because he been in the NFL longer, knows the game in and out and Willis is just coming up and he has alot to learn from other Veteran LB. But in time Willis will be in my top 10 for sure.

Yes, most LBs over pursue, but what I am saying is that Urlacher over pursues more than most others. A lot of teams use his over aggressiveness against him by running counters and other misdirection plays. How can you fault P Willis for having a coach like Singletary? That is only another reason for him to be a better player.

yeah ok . urlacher get double teamed on almost every play n he doesnt over pursue his patience is top notch. could u imagine how many tackles he would get if he didnt have briggs near him n he didnt get doubled all the time.

Come on man, who double teams an LB? Urlacher has the advantage of having a beast of a DT, Tommie Harris that will actually command the double team. He also has Adewale Ogunlea or however you spell it at DE. Most of the time the Bears allow Urlacher to spy. Don't get me wrong, he is a beast, but get the facts straight, he does overpursue and that takes him outta alot of plays.

ok u r like the only person i ever heard say urlacher overpursues because how does he get so many tackles if he overpursues. if that was the case then y do so mnay coaches game plan for him. n y did peyton manning say urlachers is in every play. hmm im sorry but ill go with the info of NFL personel over u.

He gets so many tackles, true, but guess who led the league in tackles last year? That's right Einstein, P Willis. Teams don't only game plan around him. There are other parts of the defense that have to be accounted for like the others that I mentioned.

So you mean to tell me that Urlacher having Briggs on his team doesn't help him? That is all the more reason for him to be a better player. As for staying on the subject, P WILLIS vs URLACHER IS THE SUBJECT EINSTEIN!!!!!! I never said that you did say P Willis isn't good. SO actually, you pulled that outta nowhere. For your information, tackles alone don't make an LB good.

If you look at their stats, in P Willis' only year, he got more tackles than Urlacher had in any one season over his career. By the way, Urlacher actually played in 16 games last year. Willis was injured last year as well, he had a cast on his hand. In that one season that Willis played, he also had the same amount of forced fumbles that Urlacher had in his entire career. Don't get me wrong, Urlacher is good, but if you ask me, he is a bit overrated. His name comes up a lot in poles for who is the most overrated player in the NFL. He actually was voted as the most overrated player in the NFL according to a poll conducted by Sports Illustrated of NFL players.

i said briggs takes tackles away because hes good not make urlacher worse. n i was talking about our subject of urlacher overpursuing. n i knw dat tackles alone doesnt make a linebacker because if thata the case urlacher had more take aways and sacks than patrick. but i wont blame that on patrick he needs a better line so he can get take aways. all in all they r both good LB'S N WILL B IN THE HOF. Briggs is good, but honestly, I think that he puts up his numbers because of Urlacher and Tommie Harris. I think that they can plug any decent LB into Briggs position and he would be successful. Look at Roosevelt Colvin. He was great for the Bears, but when he left for the Patriots, he didn't do anything near what he did in Chicago. Now to bring it back to the topic, I think that Urlacher is a good MLB and he makes others in his LB core good, but if we had to choose between the two, I would take P Willis because he is younger and Urlacher has been injured in the past. Don't know about Hall of Fame for either of them though. I mean, they are acting like Derrick Thomas isn't Hall of Fame worthy.

i agree with u about pluggin sum1 next to urlacher but believe they will be in the hof. n of course i would choose willis to im not stupid he is only in his twenties i just think urlacher is better right now. i dnt knw about the future but right now i think he is .
