Possibility of an uncapped football season.

reports are coming in from the NFL to the possibility of an un-capped 2010-2011 season, and also a lock-out in the 2011 season. i think there should be a salary cap, we cant have owners going out there and buying a superbowl basically. think about it. no salary cap no spending limit. the teams would have a field day and the NFL would be so fucked and possibly sent into deep debt, and it might end......... or maybe im just over-reacting.

thoughts on this?

yea, but now if jerry jones has no spending limit, he WILL buy everyone. the only reason why he hasnt is because he has a spending limit

I hope they can resolve something. If not then one uncapped year may not be terrible, more than one would be a disaster though. I think they will be able to get something done, at least I hope.

There has to be a salary cap, just like you said..the owner's could just buy a superbowl team and most teams would suffer from this. No salary cap would change the NFL in a negative way

yea, i hope this s*** doesnt happen. the nfl needs to be capped. because this s*** would get rediculous.....
