Great Short Yardage $ Play

Playbook: West Coast
Formation: Gun-Split Offset
Play: PA F Slide

Steps

1. Place backup RB in for FB
2. Hot route LB( ) and A( ) to fades
3. Hot route B( ) to drag
4. Hot route X( ) to a streak

Reads

1. Look at both RBs runnin the fades out of the backfield, they will b open in most zones and sumtimes in man but rarely
2. 2nd read is Y( ) on the crossin route over the middle.. it will b WIDE open in cover 2 and will most likely b open in man
3. Last read is B( ) on the drag.. he will b open in all zone coverages if u hit him at the right time and will probably b open in man too

*HINT* i suggest using this play wit a team that has 2 good RBs or wit a team that at least has a FB wit good hands.. i use this wit the vikes and AP and chester kill wit this play

nice play i ran it with eagles on 360

yep the eagles would also b a good team to run 2 back shotty wit.. but i use this sumtimes in the redzone and its KILLER!! those fades kill ppl if u hit em at the right time in zone..

yeah i used it in endzone online it killed his defense

how do you make it to have both your RB in the game? i member in 09 you could just set it to dub half backs and all was good. how do you do it on madden 10??

u can package in "hb duo" or whatever or u can sub him in by pressin LB(L1)

good play against the man..

id actually say it kills zone more.. man can guard the fades better.. in zone u can just hit the fades early right when he starts headin up field and u can get easy yards in zone.. and u have the drag over the middle if the fades r covered.. the hook zones will b worryin bout the crossin route by A(X) and the 2 fades that u have a wide open drag over the middle for a good 5 yards.. its a great play when u want to convert on 3rd and short.. and u cant user guard both of the fade routes so its a really hard play to defend.. its all up to u to make the right read..

oh.. i just saw the middle crossing route open everytime on man..

yea its just my 1st read on that play is always the fades cuz those r the quickest routes.. but yea u really could make this an every down play wit a few hot routes here and there to confuse ur opponent.. it takes sum work on the timing wit the fades and u could perfect this play.. ive been workin wit it and its WILD!!

in zone it is a short yardage play but alot of ppl mainly come out in zone online.. in zone it is a short yardage play.. in man it can get a good 15-20 yards..
