I think u guys do have a 2011 first round pick.. U guys traded the 09 and 2010 first rounders I think and the raiders gave us a 2011 pick. So u guys do have a first rounder to make it happen but like I said an educated guess would be the raiders pick will be better then the bears pick.

New England will have the East, maybe...I don't know, Miami looked tough. I can't call that one.

Oakland, though, I have no idea how they'll fare against San Diego, this, however, makes them at least the 2nd best in the division.

i think its a good move by both teams, the raiders get a great dl to help with that horrid defense. the pats get a guaranteed top 5 pick. they should use that pick for either, a rb, wr, or a te.

Why would we use that pick on a wr? I know u are thinking galloway and moss are old but brandon tate got drafted by NE in a late round this year and before his injury last year in college he woulda been a first round pick.. Even if he doesn't pan out there is no way belichick takes a wr in round 1.. And as much as I'd love a rb that we can count on I doubt he goes there either... I wouldn't guarantee a top 5 pick cuz I think the raiders are better then most people think and all they gota do is put it all together but they can never seem to do it.. I would guess it'll be a top 10-15 pick cuz its 2 years from now... I'd say 2 drafts from now NE will be goin with an Olineman or trading back out of wherever that pick will land us in the draft..

Seymour isn't a DT he's a DE who can play DT.. We made that deal to sign vince wilfork, our DT to a multi year extension.. From what I hear our 3rd round pick ron brace is already trying to move down in weight to make the transition from DT to DE in the next couple years.. I think if we take that pick and don't trade out of the first round it will be an OLineman... The Raiders were #11 total defense last year and had 14 interceptions, I wouldn't exactly call that horrid.
They couldn't stop the run, still, but a horrid defense, the Raiders aren't.

Seymour already won 3 rings, hes good in that department. Now all he has to do is make his money. If he plays good we will give him the money.

That makes a lot of sense. Maybe he'll like it in Oakland. Cable's a player's kind of coach.

I heard these rumors as well but it was kind of confusing. On one hand, it sounds like he is not showing up to Oakland because he is trying to work something out with New England. On the other though, Tom Cable said he spoke to Seymour and he said he was ready to be a Raider. While I can understand it would suck to go from the Patriots to any team, much less the Raiders, I hope he pulls up his big boy pants and contributes to the team ASAP.
