Overhyped teams and players

ok I'm a steeler fan so I kno imma get som flak for them but u ever been playing a team and they do some other worldy ish ex: u ever notice that if u do happen to sack brady and he does still throw it his lame duck just looks like a slow spiral and dosen't wobble in the air post your madden wtf moment

The Eagles and the Raiders.These are two teams i do not play online.I really dont need to explain the eagles because everyone knows how good-overhyped they are.The raiders on the other hand is ridiculously great on the game.They won 5 games last season and they are top 5 best teams on the game.Their secondary is fast and can cover good.Their linebackers can pursuit and tackle like no other.(they actually made Matt Forte fumble on a shoe-string tackle)J.Russell has the biggest arm in the game(thats fair) and hes accurate as hell with it.(he throws it up and heyward-bey goes and get it)McFadden is excellent on Madden.Its enough Felix Jones cant be tackled.

Raiders Eagles and Patroits are on my never play list.(unless i feel cocky or im playing a friend)

Only thing wrong with Pittsburgh is that Willie Parker is too nice and Ike Taylor is THAT DUDE!!

man I will tell you whats overhyped!!! Chicago D is ridiculous!!! Yeah Philly too even without dawkins and lito too i think!! ofcourse Mike Vick is the new online rave...The 49ers linebackers are ridiculously fast...ridiculous....

yea i hardly ever ply the eagles but the raiders idk sometimes

i don't even use the eagles anymore, because i know people hate them so much, and i'm a fan of them. i use the falcons now. i think the pats are really overrated in this game, just because of the crazy stuff that happens when i play them.

Don't dodge teams online, you're only as good as what you can beat.. so you might as well try to beat the best (that's just my philosophy). So even if I get stomped, I might pick up some stuff from that game that worked or helped me, give it a shot. I used to hate the cowboys in 08 and pats in 09, but I played them and noticed a lot of players who use those high rated teams are making up for a lack of skill.

I have to agree, but there comes a point where losing a lot to the same crap cause your team can't keep up is getting old LOL. I run the Colts and the Giants are the worst team for me to face if the guy is a half way decent player. When Jacobs runs, good luck with an open field tackle, if you can catch him. He was hit by two player of my players at once, broke that then 1 second later he broke a 3 man pack all in one run. Insane! I tried to play with them and just couldn't get the same result with Jacobs but then again, I think I need work with my truck timing.

Yeah timing has a ton to do with the game... I play with certain backs and seem to not be able to get anything going, yet when other people use them they are godly. I guess we're all just partial to certain types of play/players.

Nate clements.. Every time I play against the niners he picks off everything thrown his way..

The only team I dont like facing is the eagles. I have 2 think twice about playing them and ask myself do I really want 2 deal with Mike Vick running all around the field. The eagles make a bad player look decent and a decent player look great. It was the same way with the pats in 08 and 09.

Wats overhyped is ap's trucking ability that is not his game at all. he should have a gud amount of strength not a high trucking ability. same with willie parker willie uses his speed not trucking linebackers consistently.

my madden wtf moments are wen notorious brick handed halfbacks catch passes in traffic and get hit in the air and hold on to the ball and sorry wr's drop damner everything. ex: brandon jacobs (never catches any passes) jamaal lewis(cant catch f'n sweeps in real games) ummm who else cant think of any right now but those to def cant catch

Even worse is, brick handed players catching stuff and legit players dropping balls.

Blocking TE's making catches in traffic, FB's jumping for balls and coming down with them.. and then you try to throw a swing to Darren Sproles and it clanks off his hands with nothing but green grass in front of him lol.

the chargers man d is over hyped i played the chargers and no one on my team could get open on any route not even my rb coming out of the back field on a slant route. teams i avoid are the chargers and eagles. sproles is overhyped as well. mcfadden is overhyped when it comes 2 breaking tackles i bust out of a lot of gang tackles w/ him. more then when i use jacobs or turner

My grip is n madden they have have james harrison all over the field he covered brian westbrook 30 yrds downfield on a man to man defense. I'm sry but no harrison is not doing dat.

I noticed this as well, in practice I play vs the best D and I notice Harrison can cover everyone and anyone man to man....even though he's really just a pass rusher (same with D. Ware).

James Harrison picked a ball off 20 yards deep when he was blitzing...I was like, wtf is this ish?

I've counted thus far lol, Troy P has missed 1 tackle on me. He's crazy.

People will start saying the Raiders D is overrated when Seymour gets put on the game.

I don't know why people are scared of Vick, he's awful in Madden.

Well, let's face it.. Raiders D plays better in the game than in real life. Few ppl know their pass D was 10th and is reflected well in the game...however, for a rush D that finished ahead of only Detroit, their D line gets off blocks pretty well and the D doesn't miss a lot of tackles. They were also 27th in total yds, and 26th in ppg allowed.

If you don't think the Madden Raiders play better than a team who gave up 360 yds and 25pts per game, you gotta stop drinkin the kool-aid.
