I enjoy this game but

Are any of you married? What about a real life? Who has a job?

Like I said "Madden is fun" but some of you need to get a life.

Doesnt seem to me like this is the kinda game that will eat all your time, thats more of an RPG thing.

Plenty of people have real lives who play madden often... it's a hobby like golf or playing cards. It's not like a kid I know who lost years of his life to Ultima Online.

I personally have a good job, not getting married anytime soon though.

Just trying to make the point that this game has became way to big. I think it hurts the real game of football because we all know that most of the stuff that goes on in this game would never happen in real life. Back when I was younger we played the game the same way we did out back or the way the best team in the NFL did it.

Take for example the wildcat. I played this guy and he was the Eagles and all he did was run the wildcat he would add some shotgun with Vick. I like the idea of only allowing the same play ran maybe twice. If you put that into the AI then you would see a more pure football game.

i agree with you in that people running the same play over and over again can get annoying, especially if it involves vick or the wildcat. i personally run a play out of shotgun a lot, though, because i really like it. i'm not talking all game, but i can run it as much as 7 or 8 times a game. it's gotten stopped before, i just really like it though, it provides a lot of options. so, i think that doing a cheese play like wildcat or anything with vick over and over again is wrong, but running a straight up shotgun pass a couple times that is possible to stop? i don't see that as unfair or anything.

It's not unrealistic on play calling, if you're a coach and a team can't stop your play... are you going to be like "Let's mix it up a little?" No, you're going to use that play or ones just like it til they're blue in the face and you're up by 50.

How many times a game did Vick used to run with the Falcons? Enough to rack up 1000+ yards one year. If you could get 8.4/carry, wouldn't you?

How often did the Pats run the slot screen to Welker in 07? A few times per drive.

Coaches will stick with something if they know you can't stop it. If you can't adapt your defense to it, then you have to re-evaluate what your game plan.

i wish they had all madden ranked games.that would solve the a.i. adaptive problems

I have a job and i'm married. Madden is just away for many people to get away from our lives!!! lol How many people agree? Madden is fun and it doesn't cost that much money to play over and over again. I've been playing madden since the very first game came out. We have lives don't worry lol.

I can see two people on here that are madden freaks. Can you guys tell. It is the two guys that became upset by this thread.

I still like the idea of putting more plays on the game and then only allowing a play to be run once or twice.

Oh, I admit to having not much of a life. I have friends and I'm working on my eagle scout project and stuff but I admit to playing WAAAAAAAAYYY too much but I don't really care anyway.

I enjoy this game. I'm married, have a great job and a great life. Like some people have already said, it's a hobby. Just like bowling and working on cars are two more hobbies of mine.

Yo just cuz u play madden doesn't mean that u don't have a life cuz I go to school and have a job but I play madden So you didn't make a point at all to this thread
