Was anyone else aware that after the first OT ends, a second one begins but with no coin flip? My situation: guy was throwing decently to score on me in OT but he had no timeouts and was stopped at my 16 as time expired, I'm thinking I escaped a loss and we'd have another coin flip. Nope, a "2nd" OT begins with him getting the ball right where he had it. So really, it wasn't a 2nd OT, it was a resetting of the clock. Stupid, stupid rule.

tl;dr - OT clock resets after 5 min

This has always been the case in Madden. But you are right it is gay.
