| That's my go to formation in critical situations. I usually pick any passing play outta there and hot route the out wr to streak and the slot wr to slant out. If the slants covered hit the streak with a jet pack user catchin the seams. It's difficult to stop if u know how to do it right. | |

| Try jet pack user, or if the defense is bunched toward your recievers have ur slot recievers do out slants and ur outside recievers to do in slants, the slot receievers should get free every time. | |

| There are some good plays from this formation.
Against MAN coverage: MESH - Slant out the inside slot WR, motion him to the left and snap after he takes a step so he cant be bumped.
Against Zone:
Formation Audible HB Draw: If he has 2-3 DL or his Dline is spread out, This play is good, and with a speedy back, it is awesome. You can easily pick up 5-15 yards with this play when you mix it in. Low risk way to convert 3rd and short.
Stick and Stick Switch (I prefer stick switch): The stick, or short curl routes, by the WR's are great for short yardage against zone. You can make them a little more open by hot routing a WR to a streak and can put the HB on a out in case you mess up on your man/zone read.
Bench Swap / Bench Switch: There are a LOT of ways to run these two plays. My favorite is to put a slot WR on a streak and the other on a drag. Once someone starts running C2 or C4 or they blitz, I can hit the slot streak for a good gainer. Another is to put both slots on slants to the same side of the field, then motion one to the wide side and snap before he sets.
Everyone raves about X-Clown, but I never get it to work well for me this year, so I don't really run it. | |
