On-Line Lag

How bad is everyones lag, i have lost 3 close games, and i admit i am not the greatest but im definately not the worst....

For example i struggle to be able to kick extra point fg's because i cant get the power, i will go to hit up and it wont register, then down and its the same result, fuckin pissing me off so bad.

Another example would be when i go to pass to a open reciever and it doesnt throw... so i will go mental on my controller trying to throw but it wont throw for another second or so, this is (as im sure you can imagine) extremly frustrating.

every single one of my games has been lost last minute, there was 1 that was fair to lose but my most recent loss was because i missed a fg, fg's are next to impossible for me to kick... i can compete though and am doing ok, but its just so hard to play online with this lag.

SOOOOO my question is does anyone else have to deal with this extreme lag or is it just me because i live on the other side of the planet to the americans (i live in australia).

did you say you move the analog stick up first? if so, that's your problem, you are supposed to move it down first. as for the other problems, it could very well be due to lag. living that far away has to create some lag issues, i'm sure.

hmm, you might have to just play people who live closer to you. i have no clue what the set-up of australia is, but i know new zealand is closer to it than america and there are a couple guys on this forum from new zealand. you could try to contact them if you want a lag-free (or significantly decreased lag) game.

Erm, i live in the UK and have no problem with lag...

I played a guy who lagged me on purpose. I was beating him in the 4th and went to kick a FG.. it was like a 30 yarder. He comes out in FG return and lags me so I can't get pwr on the kick. Kick goes nowhere and he returns it to the house. Then when I try to come back he lags me on O.. but when he gets the ball it's fine.

The only reason it was blatantly obvious was b/c he came out in FG return on a 30 yd FG.
