Throwing alot of picks

Hey.
I've got to admit that I am abit of a
gambler. But I tend to look for the big plays and in Madden 09 I was
really good at ''threadin the needle'' so to say. How ever it seems
that has come back to haunt me in madden 10, Im throwing alot of picks.

So
basicly If anyone have a few tips about reading def and so on I'd be
thrilled. I used to read the safeties in 09, somehow that hasnt worked
out for me too well so far though.

I would make sure to look if they are playing zone or man to man. And if they have a cover 1,2,3,4, ect... if you look for those things it will help you decide what type of rout is going to work best for you! I suggest alot of slants, and drags. High percentage short yardage passes... just until you get the hang of the look's of all the D's and to build up your confidence! Then gradually start throwing it deeper and deeper.

Ive found that the streak routes arent that lucrative. if ur looking for the deep ball i would do like moose said and start short and work your way out. But as far as deep routes go, the double moves seem to get a lot of defenders outta whack. so maybe try to find a slant n go route.

I've gotten alot of success with the Saints recently. Dumping it of to Busch has really helped me. Also I found that running the ball alot more will open up the pass, well I allready knew that, Im just not a very skilled runner hehe.

Btw how do you hit the outside routes ? I throw alot of picks there, dont really know when and how to hit the reciver, anyone?

For me the deep streak routes come very few. The only time you can really open up streak routes is when you run a ton then do a PA. As soon as you come back from the fake hand off just air it out... and hope for the best.

in madden 10 , deep balls r usually caught by either 1) luck, 2) user catch(may need some skills though)

ive really cut down on alot of my interceptions by not leading the WR. if i have time in the pocket and i can see where the defender is playing then ill lead em
