The next expansion team.

Which state will get a team involved in the nfl. the last team was carolina. who's next??

yeah carolina and jacksonville got a team at the same time. i dunno, maybe Oklahoma, but i only say that because they made a successful move with their new basketball team. so it makes me think they have the proper market their for the NFL.

I say vegas....NV is bound for a sports team, ppl just scared of betting.

which is what i dont understand why. some1 care to explain it?

I can see Oklahoma as a very good spot to go, perhaps Las Vegas. But how does this effect the league setup?

Somehow I don't see any new expansion teams coming in any time soon. The league is pretty even right now.

It would have to be two new teams to bring it to 34 total....don't count out toronto as a possibility...oklahoma city seems good too...and of course every1 knows the league wants a team in LA but I dunoo if it would happen. I would throw salt lake city, Utah out there too.

During Tagliabues reign as commishioner the NFL came very close to getting a team in LA.

But with the games being held in London, Mexico, and Canada I can see the NFL going international.

...for the record, since carolina and jax joined the league, two other expansion teams have been added to the league...the year after, the current replacement browns were added by expansion...the last expansion team was houston...

...first off, you'd have to find a state with the money to build a stadium...it's going to be anywhere from five to ten years before the economy rebounds and you start to see funding loosen up...

now, it's in the best interest of the owners to move an ailing team rather than expand...jax will be a likely candidate as there is no better argument for oversaturation...the bills seem to be in a similar situation...
