Play is called verticals.

Most outside WR is on a wide fade. You motion him out and he goes near sideline and up for a open look.

Can be shutdown with a purp zone, sliding CB, or manual cover.

In no way is this a glitch.

Everyone I face does this to me so yea.

i dont really like motion glitch but like he said he can be stopped. anything that can only be stopped one way is really just exploitin the AI which is kinda annoying because i gotta change up my gameplan for just one play but i deal with it when i see it

Its not a glitch! To stop it u slide ur CB over and grab ur mlb cover the middle crossing route.. People just call everything a glitch cuz they have no stick..its a really easy play to shut down.. U don't slide ur CB over and u will get burned though!

It sounds like the trips TE plays from last year, lame when it first happens and then you know what to do.

thats why i dont really got a problem with people running it because it can easily be shut down. but the thing that sucks about it is that since the only way you can stop it is by movin the corner over the smarter people will play off the motion and run different routes and exploit you movin over the corner. thats my only prob with it

That's why I said devo cover the middle of the field for that crossing route.. Its the only other route that is effective enough to worry about. That entire play is easy to shut down and if people hot route too much it messes up the motion fade and that's the last thing anyone wants to do cuz they run this play for that route.

Yeah, but that's why you have so many Madden players that don't know a thing about football other than players and teams. They'll tell you to run crossing routes vs man coverage, but in real life it's REALLY not that simple. There's no nano blitzes or rocket catches and constantly using tosses and sweeps from full house will get you nowhere.

There actually is rocket catching in real life they just don't put a name on it. Fitzgerald and moss have made their names mostly from rocket catching and as small as steve smith is, he does it too!

Motion glitch is gay tho...cuz even if u man up ur cb doesn't move with him like he would in real life...but yeah u gotta manually cover it which is gay that they didn't fix it this year...jus another 09 tactic still in 10

A man nano can shut it down with bump or Cover 2 can delay it.

I still don't get why its called a glitch when it can easily be stoppedwith a buzz zone and moving ur cb over!!its stoppedway easier then the RC but RC is a "skill" not a glitch.. Its only a glitch to people with no stick like i said earlier.

i just call it motion glitch because thats what it was when i heard it i really dont think its a glitch more than it is annoying

Is this 100%? I'm doing it in practice to check it out and it only happens once every few times.

It also just seems like the separation is caused by the delay of the route, not by motion or programming... the fade is exaggerated so it gives the CB time to back way off for an easy open catch.

No if it was 100% u can call it a glitch.. I can get it a lot cuz im really good at it.. its a timing route and like ive said its easily stopped...

I'm noticing this...Why do they act like man can't cover it? It seems like it's doing okay, just vulnerable deep maybe.

Man covers the motion fade but it doesn't cover the mid crossing route from ur #3wr.. I never throw to the fade vs man coverage! It can get picked but in 09 it was still money if u RC.

Wopper someone already made a post of fitzgerald doing it and I would post one of moss but I'm on my phone, my computer is broken.. I almost posted a video of moss doing it a couple months ago but then someone made a post with fitz doingit so I just left it at that..

anything that forces you to manually have to move a player in order for him just to follow the damn reciever in motion is considered a glitch. i remember when i played some people who would do a motion glitch that would cause my corner to run into 1 of his linemen and get called for encroachment every damn time until i had manully moved my man myself, even though i shouldn't have had to as that was now an extra thing i had to do before he hurried up and snapped the ball. Although it didnt happen anymore once i moved my guy myself, it was still a pain in the a$$ cuz i knew i shouldn't have to waste my time doing that 1 little extra thing that could cause me not to be able to switch back to the player i was originally on or audible something else, which did happen sometimes and caused a big play. thats why people are callin it a glitch, cuz it simply is. the CB should be over there on the WR just like he would in real life

This really sounds like a bunch of cry babys to me. If the route can be stopped then whats the fucking problem? Anyone with any type of skill would just put their DB's in position to stop it. I do it all the time its not that hard. Part of the fun of Madden is the arcade feel it has at times. This is a fucking video game and every single year we get morons who complain how un life like it is. If you wanna play "real" football get some friends together and go play. With a game as popular as Madden there are going to be players out there that exploit s*** thats just how it is. Learn to except it, remember the more you learn to counter the better player you are going to be. RC's, Nano's, motion, are all a part of the madden scheme. All of them can be taken care of with good strategy, and stick skill. If you wanna be the best stop bitching and figure out how to deal with everything that is going to be thrown at you.
