any way to prevent catching

I remember in 09 you press A when then defender was close and the reciever would 90% of the time drop it. Anyway to do this in 10.


O also what is the defensive assistance button for and when do you use it..

u can swat or even if ur defender is close u can switch to the defender and try to strip.. that might help to get the ball out..

and the defensive assist is when ur bringin in another defender to help a gang tackle or another defender to keep the RB from breakin loose..

defensive assistance helps you in coverage. Say if you are playing a zone and you get out of place, then all you have to do is hold the X button(PS3) and it will atomatically take you back to where you are suppose to be

Aight so with the d assistance this is after the snap right? And you mean that if I have a dark blue route and for some reason go to the flat I press a cuz I'm on 360 and he will do the right thing? Do youhave to be on the player or does it effect the whole field

I have heard that the defensive assist does nothing on All-Pro or All-Madden but I am still unsure if this is true.

Big hitting the player is the best way to force a drop.
