| Hello, I need some serious help when it comes to scoring in the redzone. I can do good driving the ball downfield and against most level 1 players can control the clock very well (had it for 11 min. on one game, but still lost) I either fizzel out or panic whatever you like to call it when it comes to scoring. I play as the Redskins all the time and it always appears my recievers are either not open or drop the ball. I do my best to call many different plays and the run is my bread and butter. I run to set up the pass more or less. PA is just about a nightmare for me to use because no matter how much I line shift or try to roll out it ends up being a sack 9 out of 10 times. If you would like to help me out I sure would appreciate it very much. My PS2 personna is ....... C Cooley 1 if you want to play an unranked practice game. | |

| also try to run hb slams. the running back gets the ball faster on slams then on dives, so u get more yardage | |

| with the redskins it allows you to get open through the air with their recievers being fast. what i like to do is come out in a 5 wr shotgun set (15-20 yards away from endzone). i like to streak the two outside wr's. then slant the two slot recievers(the left one to slant to the right, and the right one to slant to the left) and if the opponent is blitzing i block the 5th reciever. this is a good technique for me...also moss is really fast i would slant him and motion him to the other side and hike it right before he sets. UTILIZE THEIR SPEED IS WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY!!! | |

| You mite wanna try runnign a couple times b4 using play action. It keeps the defense on their toes and stops them from knowing it's play action.

| deception is best. you run a lot so come out in singleback sets (3-4 WR's) and run. then come out in 2 TE sets and 2 backs and pass. | |

| Also if your planning on throwing look for the corner of the endzone. There is usually a gap there. | |

| You gotta use the guy in your screen name. I suggest putting Cooley on corner routes to the wide side of the field. There are a lot of playaction plays which have Cooley running a corner rte. You can also use the delay release routes. Gotta get that TE into the red zone play book. It is also good to have your WR on the opposite side of the play run a quick slant so your opponent can't just focus on your TE. If he does, throw it to the slant just before he gets to the hash mark on the side that you are rolling out. Read his LBs. Santana Moss and Randle EL run good routes too so try the WR shake with them. Just make sure that you hot route someone to block for you cause the nano blitzers will get in there quick. | |
