i heard forrest complained about a dislocated jaw and not being able to hear after the fight. apparently the jaw injury happened early in the fight, and if you watch it again you can see how many times he gets hit in the mouth. he probably got his eardrum ruptured, hence not being able to hear.

that explains why he got knocked out the way he did. it was crazy seein that because i've never seen forrest get beat so easily in a fight
