When you run a 5-2 cover 2, all the zones are filled, but the zone between the 2 deep safetys. i tried this and it worked great and i beat florida with this.
Step 1: Switch one of your dt's with a back up safety and put them in a deep zone
Step 2: If facing a mobile Qb put the other dt in spy, if not let him rush.
Step 3: Since your in a 5-2 you'll have 3 dt's so put the last one in a hook zone (you know the yellow zone)
Step 4: watch the magic. it works very well if your d is a good zone d like michigan
