| Regular punt: take outside guy ... tap traingle over and over till the screen no longer pans out.. rush in and block it . Max Protect: take player 3 ppl in from the right ... do same thing ..avoid the second blocker.. go to inside of him .. takes practice | |

| yes there are two ways to do it. i recommend using this wisely. first way. once you snap the ball quickly press circle, this will let you control the fullback run himm over to the other side and he will pancake the guy coming in. this takes practice. second way. you must use this wisely, once a game. only use this technique when it is 4th and 5 or under. press down on the r3 to get the power meter going but just let it fall to the bottom, never press up on the r3. this will cause a terrible punt, but it won't matter because your opponent wil be offsides. | |

| I tried the first one last night. I didnt necessarily get a pancake but he didn't get my guy either, so it seemed to work out, thx. With the second one tho, if they're just fakin it couldn't that really hurt ya? | |

| yes it can hurt, but the extra set of downs outweighs the risk of a loss of 20 yards on your punt, and no one really fakes it. | |

| if you are playing a good baller you should pick when to use it wisely. Good players will recognize what is going on and will be able to counter it. I suggesst waiting until the 4th quarter if you are down and making a big play out of it. | |

| There's really a much simpler way to counter the punt block glitches. The key is to throw off the timing of the rusher. Don't let the guy guess your snap. Hit the R2 button to fake simulation of the snap. IF he's real anxious, it can draw him offsides. If he doesn't, it will cause him to hesitate just enough to get the kick off. Note: You may have to do it several times. Some guys are pretty crafty. I usually do it several times (four or five) before actually snapping . . . just to make sure. | |
