For those 'HATING" on vick tell me this

I found this at TML... its a good post about vick.. so i thought i would let u guys see it...



Now tell us 1 BONIFIED WR Vick played with? Hell, his line wasn't even big enough to pass block. You guys are really funny, but from what I'm reading I can read between the lines.

BUT YOU GUYS AIN'T CALLING OUT Palmer, how many playoff games has he been in or even WON, Romo too? And who can forget about the backup everybody SCREAMED to see the field as Vick's backup by the name of Schaub and how many winning seasons has he had or playoff appearences? YET ALL THESE GUYS HAVE TRUE #1 & #2 WR's at the helm but can't produce to save their lives!!! Now let's hear how its not their fault because of _________. But keep saying Vick was the sole culprit in ATL........yet HE WAS THE TEAM'S OFFENSE!!!

Oh, one more thing. How many QB's did ATL put at the helm when Vick was suspended WITH THE EXACT SAME PERSONNEL VICK HAD, BUT THEY COULDN'T EVEN WIN 5 GAMES. But they turn around and UPGRADE THE COACHES, WR's, RB's, O-LINE, DEFENSE, heck WHOLE TEAM when they get the rookie QB, to try to make Vick look like the goat. But the coach turn around and QUIT because he didn't have Vick, yet he's a coach killer......F outta here with yall nonsense.

I guess Carr and Harrington are world beaters as well BOTH OF THEM COMBINED DON'T HAVE WINNING RECORDS AS STARTERS AND HOW MANY TEAMS HAVE THEY AUDITIONED FOR AND HAVEN'T PRODUCED!!! What's the reason why they are still in the league?

For the 'stat guys' that love posting NUMBERS, how bout posting me some W-L stats for these QB's compared to Vick or would that be too much salt in your wounds.

And for the smart elics that wanna try to post 'passing stats' MAKE SURE YOU POST RUSHING YARDS AS WELL. Because YARDS ARE YARDS NO MATTER HOW YOU GET THEM!!!

damn vick was my favorite player to watch back when he was in the league.. he was the most exciting player to watch.. he wasnt the best thrower, but he could get u the ball and can run around a whole defense.. i cant wait to see him on the gridiron again..

just so u kno, i have never and never will b a falcons fan.. he was just my guy!

As far as vick goes, I lost any respect I had for him when he flipped the bird to all the fans that PAY his salary. I dont remember what game it was but I believe it was against the rams. I remember watching him college and thinking he was going to change the NFL.

I could care less about his dog fighting charges, I was just glad that it happened to him. Harsh as that may sound, it may have turned his life around, we will see. Everyone deserves a second chance but to disrepect the people that are part of what makes you great is just plain wrong.

he is still human and fans mess with the players...if you go to a any random job and mess with an employee ur bound to get cursed out or anything...doesnt matter that you shop at that store

yea, douglas will be a great reciever this year atl will have the top 3 rec corps in the league this year i garunsheed it. with tony g? playoffs here we come

yea i sometimes feel like boycotting ESPN because of their negative coverage on my man's VIck...

I think he means they did this off season.

Even if he meant that they added wrs this off season he's wrong... Their top 3 wrs are the same as last year.

idk about that, i like vick but i dont think he would have won on the falcons cause i dont think they would have had the team too do it. Especially considering that if he would have been in the super bowl either of the last 2 years he would of had to face the 16-0 Pats and the steelers so i dont think they would have been able to beat either of them. Cause theres no way they could have stopped the Pats and i think the Steelers d could stop vick

...the wr question has been answered so i'll tackle the line...'wasn't big enough to pass block'...the author of this seems to lack understanding about what was going on with atlanta's offense...in 2004, atlanta hired one of the best o-line coaches in the game, alex gibbs...he implemented a 'zone blocking scheme' that used smaller, more athletic o-linemen and a much nastier style off cut blocking to give atlanta the best rushing offense as long as he was coaching them...obviously warrick dunn benefitted as well, but it really opened up things for vick as well, whose slashing running style was a perfect fit for that style of blocking...

...romo has in fact gotten a lot crap for the playoff losses...palmer would too if he'd managed to stay standing up right instead of getting injured...

...i think most people have actually forgotten about schaub...but his problem isn't his accuracy, it's staying healthy...

...when it comes to wins or losses, you can rarely put that on one guy, that's the case with vick, romo, palmer and schaub...anybody that says that vick is the reason those teams lose, is actually 'hating'....but then after making that point the author turns around and says that michael vick was the team's offense...so wait...for a moment i was agreeing but then he goes and turns it around on me...this is masterful debating...

...so let me get this straight, after letting vick go, atlanta attempted to improve the team to make vick look bad?...does this mean that they were purposely sabotaging the team when he was there?... 

...once again, the author does not seem to have a very firm grip on his atlanta history...he doesn't name any of the coaches in this disjointed timeline, but the coach vick killed was mora, and he was fired...petrino quit because the entire locker room turned on him... 

...and the upgrades referred to happened 'before' they drafted ryan, not after...

...i do like this argument...i think it's safe to say that vick is in the same catagory of QB as carr and harrington...i'm convinced....

...as for why are carr and harrington in the league and vick wasn't when they are comparable in terms of skill, i'd have to say running a dog fighting enterprise and personally torturing the dogs might be a contributing reason...

...well, i think it might matter...the passing yards are the difference between being a quarterback and a runningback...


...i'll be honest, i'm not a big vick fan, but mostly because too many (not all, just too many) vick fans are really irrational in their support...it's easy to fine reasons to like him...his freakish athletism makes him fun to watch, and he's occasionally put together a good passing game...but a lot of these fans do ignore the really obvious holes in his game...he WAS inaccurate, he couldn't get to his third read before bolting the pocket, and after signing the richest deal in nfl history he continued to participate in a high profile federal crime...pointing these things out usually isn't met with logical argument it's met with denials and accusations of hate, when the best argument would be 'yeah, he's inaccurate, not a great passer and a poor professional, but he's still a hell of a lot of fun to watch'...

Named one Bonified Receiver mcnabb had besides 2004, which I would LOVE to include he didn't have him throughout the whole post season? NONE. Yet, he is successful.

If you're a good football player and leader, you can make any receivers good.
