| The wildcat is ridiculously awsome. You have to respect the balls of Tony Sparano to call that play. And I think thats the only time Ive ever seen Belichick stumped in a game. And when we sign Vick we will improve on it and show the league how the wildcat is really run. | |

And when we sign Vick we will improve on it and show the league how the wildcat is really run. god i hope not!! and to me putting a qb in the "wildcat" formation is also known as the option and the option hasnt been brought into the NFL cuz it wont work.. u can have respect for sparano having the balls to do that all u want but it still remains taht the wildcat was shutdown in the 2nd half of the season and theres no reason to believe it wont again this year..

| if you look in the history of the nfl you will see a bunch of different offenses. There are a ton because new innovations came along that were better or defenses found ways to stop them. The wildcat is one of those things that just went away because teams thought fans wanted to see spread out 5 wr formations. Defenses never found a consistent way to stop the wildcat without putting 8 guys in the box. So if you have a qb running the wildcat and can fake a run then pass, it is unstoppable. | |

i disagree, i think it will be shut down this year no matter whos running the formation.. as u can see already i am a huge wildcat hater.. i cant stand it i think its college ball and its rediculous to think it will have success.. we will see though... as soon as one team stops it the other teams will have that video tape to stop it and it will fizzle out this season..

but when the pats started running the spread O it wasnt the college trend, the college trend was the option and running game for the most part.. when belichick and weis brought it out in 01-02 thats when mcgahee and maurice clarett were dominating the offencive trend.. of cource their D was what won championships but still its not like ken dorsey was running 4 wide sets while winning like the pats were..

| 1. LT-str8 beast when healthy cn do it all. run, pass, catch = td machine. 2. Devin hester- 11 kr tds in 2 yrs enough said. 3. Brian westbrook- truly an every dwn back. 4. Chad johnson- truly a magnificent route runner. if he get going watch out. 5. Shawne merriman- this guy wreaks havoc on a qb. a true linebacker all around. | |

| you say merriman is a true LB all around but all he does is blitz. Dont get me wrong, hes a top 3 pass rusher, but he has never had over 70 tackles in a year, so to call him a complete LB is wrong. | |
