i need help containing juice williams and the shotgun spread RB option...

You can either study up on nano blitzes, or do it like a man and get creative with your play calling.

If a guy likes to scramble a lot, try bringing a corner blitz. Pinch your line down and that will make him feel free to roam outside. You might mix up your zone packages while you're at it. Watch how he reacts to certain blitzes and try to adjust to that. You should eventually catch even the best player making a mistake.

Another thing I've learned is that just because the play isn't actually covering a whole lot doesn't mean the other guy isn't going to panick. Take calculated risks. That's what sim football is all about. I have had relative success on high risk-reward plays.

Probably my favorite strategy in this year's game is to always switch to strip on defensive extra point/fgs. This way next time you kick it off, you have a chance at a turnover. I also like to high punt and nail the return man as he catches it. I cannot tell you how many players this works against. That will at least cut down on the frequency you are trying to stop Juice.

yea im good with hot routing my own Defense...but dude was hiking fast so i couldnt have the time to make my moves...

and when i did my corner blitz, he thrw a hitch...

i beat him though...lol...

funny thing i learned is as much as u put a man in a certain spot in NCAA, the flats are ALWAYS open, no matter if u put ur D in a cover 2 flats and audible another man to the strong side....the ball still gets there....

ive come to terms that NCAA is made to score high point games and not a real defensive strategic game like madden is

DE contains usually hold people. If I play a scrambling QB, I put the ends in contain and re-blitz the DT's

I would run zone blitz and put a safty on qb spy and change up who is blitzing and who is in zone

Thats crazy you said that man....I usually put the ends in contain and reblitz the DT's as well....Sometimes I gamble with DB dogs with the dime....I'll have my two inside corners bring the heat, and put my DE's in contain and reblitz my DT's to assist my inside corners coming with heat.

Lmfao I do that same s*** when in a 4-4/4-3 only because in Dime 3-2-6 I got my own ways and in Nickel Strong I do them quick outside rush blitz with a special play and a special setup

I'll use contains in a cover 4/3 in dime 3-2-6 occasionally if he's riding terrele pryors dick to much.

i like running the 4-2-5 ss dogs but put both in spy and your de's in the flats or contain that works for me alot

in the 335..ss dog...spy one of the blitzing safteys and spread your line....

ss dogs? i think only the SS would bring the heat the FS plays deep zone
