Gauntlet Results

History of the Gauntlets spanning from Madden 09 to Madden 10 as of now

Wed. the 20th
Corporation makes sure they get heard....with a dominant performance winning every series and capturing the title.Good try by NSaNe on trying to beat the Corp. in finals.

Wed. the 27th
Corporation continues their dominance in the Gauntlets, grabbing their 2nd
championship of the year. Seems as if no one can step up to their game.2UnTaM3d showed that at full power, they can be a force to be reckoned with.The Movement continues to improve, reaching the finals this time around.But with a shortage of players, they fell to the Corp.

Thursday Sept. 11th (R.I.P 9-11 deceased)
The nMe crew, which may as well be known as the Redeem Team, simply took
over a Corp-less Gauntlet all the way to the Finals thanks to Press,
Drug, and Trigger. A showdown vs The Movement, who made the Finals for
the 2nd str8 time, and the Redeem Team resulted in 3 close games, with
nMe pulling out the win.NSaNe is so big they had to make 2 NSaNe crews....too bad the supposely better NSaNe A got swept!Good try again to The Movement....maybe next time! Keep ya head up kiddos.

Thursday Sept. 18th
M.A.D.E basically took over the gaunts, which was limited to 8 crews due to
some um, false information, with a 8-0 victory. Sweeping 2UnTaM3d,
NSaNe, and nMe on their way to their 1st Gauntlet Championship, M.A.D.E
seems to be an up and coming crew.Still no Corp again, but Truth played with his old buddies at nMe to bring them back in the Finals, only to lose to M.A.D.E.The Movement was not available due to the upcoming Minny, Indy, and Chicago MC's.

Thursday Sept. 25th
A Gauntlet filled with controversy, whining and complaining, and a
surprise champion. That would basically sum up that day's gaunt, with
SON B winning the championship upsetting the defending champions,
M.A.D.E. The controversy? Well....that's in the past, and what's in the
future is the title defend of SON B for next week!Corp seems to be nonexistent, and The Movement tried to make it, but just missed out.Alot of last minute back-outs by crews that had signed up helped SON B's chances.

Thursday October 2nd
Well, looks like The Movement backed up their s*** talking. SON had a clear
absence of their best players, unfortunately. 2UnTaM3d keeps on
beasting with GoRiLLa at full power, but close losses vs TCG killed
them. The Movement proved themselves by defeating nMe, M.A.D.E, and TCG
on their way to gaunt champs. Congrats! And let's see if yall can defend it next week....

Thursday October 9th
BLURR, a new and upcoming crew, pulled upset upon upset on their way to the
championship vs nMe, pulling out a clutch victory on the last game with
Breezy Boi vs SilentHitstick. Congrats to BLURR!M.A.D.E are bums. So is AR1A5! (I kid I kid I kid....)*cough*

Thursday Oct.16th
Yet another Gauntlet shrouded in controversy, only this time ya boy 2ToN
was involved in it! 11 crews were present, a upgrade from the previous
weeks, and 2UnTaM3d along with SON survived 3 rounds of hell games for
the finals matchup. GoRiLLa easily wins his game and T0P GUNNA gets a
tuff win vs 2ToN, but that last game with AR1A5 vs Coppin was decided
on a last sec fg. Oh wait a minute!!!! Looks like Coppin lagged AR1A5's
fg!!! Or did he? Whether or not he did lag his kick or not, the point
should be made that AR1A5 was on Coppin's 27 yard line so nevertheless
what happened next he was going to get his GW FG down. But a reasonable
solution to determine who would be the Gauntlet Champs was decided,
Leader plays the other team's Leader! So GUNNA played GoRiLLa for all
of the marbles, and GoRiLLa was on the winning end. So all in all, say hello to ur week 8 Champions, 2UnTaM3d!!!

Thursday Oct. 23rd
BLURR, only in its 3rd week of the gauntlet competition, wrapped up their 2nd
gauntlet championship, defeating SON in the finals. SON made to the
finals for the 2nd straight week! 2UnTaM3d were shorthanded and so were
a couple of other crews, so they couldn't make it. The Movement tried
to guarantee a championship, but in the end they lost. But with the
absence of TOP GUNNA for the upcoming weeks may hurt the SON team...

Thursday Oct. 30th
Day before Halloween! Terror Squad, or rather the EAFL basically, brought
3, yes mf 3, crews to this gaunt. With a high percentage for at least 1
team to make the finals, Terror Squad did indeed make the Finals vs who
else? SON! Making their 3rd straight Finals appearance, and without
their top baller TOP GUNNA just to add. Unfortunately, SON is seemingly
becoming the ol' Buffalo Bills who made to 4 SB's and lost em all.
2UnTaM3d once again was 1 win away from going to Finals, and Terror
Squad C are this week's Gauntlet Champs! Congrats!

Thursday Nov. 6th
BLURR pulls one of the Gauntlet's biggest upsets in Remo's defeat of
RussBuss, and BLURR's 3rd championship in 5 weeks earned them a top
spot in the rankings. 2UnTaM3d signed a new player, which helped them
vault to the Finals vs BLURR, but lost in several tuff hell games.
SON's streak of 3 consecutive Finals was broken today, as they lost in
the 2nd round against Terror Squad Team B, who then lost to 2UnTaM3d.
Congrats BLURR on yet another championship!

Thursday Nov. 13th
Terror Squad pulls off the whammy, having 2 of its teams in the Finals! The A
and B team practically rolled over the competition with 1 exception -
2UnTaM3d! Aided by a miracle TD pass, The B team defeated 2UnTaM3d to
meet Team A in the Finals. Now....who did actually win? Well....I'll
let RustBust decide that...oops I mean
RustyBucket...no...RussBust...aghhhh...ya know what I mean anyhow.Congrats to Terror Squad adding another Gauntlet Championship to ya belt!

Thursday Nov. 20th
2UnTaM3d vs Terror Squad A, the battle of the best 2 crews! KaSh vs JBEv 2ToN vs
RussBuss and Bills vs bamma, all close and hell games! Unfortunately
for 2UnTaM3d, TS came up ahead 3-0 with scores of 20-24, 17-13, and
20-17. Great games by the way! So congrats on TS becoming the second
crew to win back to back gaunt championships, joining the now
nonexistent The Corp. Waiting till the day we rematch each other TS

Wednesday Nov. 26th
The Gauntlet is moved to Wednesday due to the upcoming Turkey Day, so
several crews were not able to attend. Those who did gave a formidable
effort. TOP GUNNA revealed his choice of crews to join with, and not to
a surprise he chose the best available, 2UnTaM3d. So with 2 teams from
vR3Pv, 2UnTaM3d, and Quiet Storm, it was going to be a tuff night. But
nMe stepped their game up along with the signing of xDMGx GHOST, and
defeated 2UnTaM3d B on very close games, NSaNe, and both Quiet Storm
teams. Congrats! Oh not to mention 2ToN and Bills have both -99 madden
luck!

Thursday Dec. 4th
A night full of clutch wins, mostly all by the reigning Gauntlet Champions, 2UnTaM3d! With T0P GUNNA, GoRiLLa, and 2ToN, 2UnTaM3d pulled clutch wins at the very end
to pull away from Quiet Storm, vR3Pv B, and in the Finals, the very
formidable nMe! I think we all can say with GoRiLLa on 2UnTaM3d, every
week is a high possibility for them to win it all! TS is deemed dead!
Oh and did I mention GoRiLLa is uh beast?

Thursday Dec. 11th
History was made today. The longest 1st round was achieved today, a time elapse
of 2 hours 3 minutes and 43 seconds! Holy Boredom! Even through all of
the time sitting around watching lies upon lies in the lobby, nMe
stayed alert on their way to their 2nd championship in 3 weeks! So
congrats nMe on not falling victim to jet lag!

Thursday Dec. 18th
2UnTaM3d!!!!!! With the 1st 5 vs 5 in the hallowed 360 Gauntlet history, vR3Pv, nMe,
TS, 2UnTaM3d, CoA, A1A, All Skills, and BLURR were the participants,
but 2UnTaM3d came on top of them all! CoA self destructed themselves vs
2UnTaM3d, and All Skills tried their very best vs 2UnTaM3d, but a great
win by 2ToN and AR1A5 pulled the series win for them. The final round
vs BLURR would end up on the last deciding plays on 2 games, with
Breezy Boi beating 2ToN on a long pass to set up a GW FG as time ran
out, and AR1A5 pulling a miracle TD pass to Portis with 6 seconds left.
Great games, and congrats to 2UnTaM3d on their 3rd Gauntlet
Championship! And GoRiLLa smells.

RussBuss glitches BLURR on their way for a repeat championship. Congrats!

Thursday Feb. 5th
BLURR fails at a threepeat to xWGSx in Finals. xWGSx promptly eat their General Mills brand cereals.

Thursday Feb. 12th
xWGSx are repeat champs. Did anyone care? I thought so.

Thursday Feb. 19th
xWGSx fails to threepeat. GOT STICK wins, The world is ending.

Thursday Feb. 26th
vR3Pv vs GOT STICK in Finals. vR3Pv simply cannot win for s*** this year.....

Madden 10

Thursday Sept. 3rd
Well well well....The 1st Gauntlet of the Madden 10 season has begun! And to shock and dismay with a lil happiness from others, the brash and cocky nMe crew were no shows! So the people in the lobby did not get to experience the Great One, or as he likes to say, ITBITW! Chapstick, err I mean PressureStick, as well as BumCount, I mean DrugCount, disappeared off to the realms of bumminess. dUp, as most had known, were considered a bum ass crew in 09, never getting out of the 1st round. That changed in this 1st gaunt of the year. dUP boasted 2 teams of their own, and their Team B made the finals with a new comer crew, SNB! dUP prevailed over SNB to become the 1st Gauntlet Champs of the madden 10 year! Congrats! Sidenote - In the upcoming Gauntlets I expect a hella lotta more crews and competition.....let's get it!!!!

Wednesday Sept. 9th
Day before the NFL 2009-2010 season kicks off, and the defense of the returning champions dUP arrives. Who will dethrone em on this day? Several new crews were complete no shows, or maybe they just don't follow the damn rules? Who knows....Anyways, dUP went all the way to the Finals to meet up with WGS, who thusly clobbered em, sweeping dUP 3-0! Congrats WGS on being Week 2 champs!!!

Thursday Sept. 17th
The return of BLURR was the highlight of this night's gauntlet. Well that and the failure of the new crew AK47 to actually play their games. dUP failed to make it to the Finals for the 1st time in 3 gaunt tries, instead losing in the 1st round to WGS Team B, which might as well have been called vR3Pv! So it was BLURR in their 1st Finals, along with tD, their 1st Finals as well, for the championship! tD squeaked out a win with a incredible 63 yard FG to beat Inclined2Glory to give tD their 1st Gauntlet Championship! Congrats!

Thursday Sept. 24th
The Gauntlet's largest crew showings so far this year, with 12 crews, certainly insinuated for a great night! And part of that did come true, with the re-emergence of the Gauntlet's favorite bum, ChapStick! Along with BumCount, nme pushed towards the Finals, where they met the defending gauntlet champs, tD! Led by TDavis and Pwnstar tD wallops nMe to win 2-1, but hey all nMe cares about is having ITBITW win! Sidenotes - MH is funny, BLURR chokes, WGS idk.....

Nobody knew who the hell we were, and we defeated the three top teams in the gaunts, one after another (Untamed, SON, nMe).

tD over Blurr in an intense final series that featured an amazing comeback by tdaviss kicking a game winning field goal as time expired. Pwnstar look sharped in a big win. Final 2-1

That game was probably the most heartbreaking loss I've ever had. Even worse than the one to AR1A5 last year.

Crazy game. Very depressing ending.

Losing Chaz Schillens in the 2nd quarter hurt more than I had expected it would. =\

BLURR beat (and almost swept) WGS B in the semifinals. I beat my dude 34-7 when he quit in the 4th.

I made the room, we had, Pwnstar, and Va CaV Man (waiting for daviss thats our main 3.) I was busy doing homework... Then Swag joined, and guess who.. they asked for 10 mins because jagger was doing something, so we said sure wait for davis and we will wait for jagger. Regardless of the issue we had 3 in lobby at the time of our matchup. So we waited. At this point Daviss was in a moeny league game at Half time. So we waited. Davis FINISHED HIS 2nd half before Jagger joined. Daviss then joined. Pwnstar sent a game invite to Swag, Daivs sent guess who, and NO ANSWER. I then began to type in the lobby chat, still NOTHING. CaV MaN, left and went into the FINALS lobby. and look who's there. JAGGER. talking about how they beat us. Then i talked to 2ton, got it str8ned out. It was not 12 mins. 5 mins quarters with 2 left doesnt = 12mins. But regardless, how can you say they would have swept us? Jagger had to play 2 games just to beat on of your teams. But its cool, we'll see whats up next week. I can see why you would assume they'd beat us cause this is our first year. But you don't understand how our top 3 are. They are flithly. I'm gettin a B team in order for next week. So hopefully you get matched up with our a team, and youll see what I'm talking about.
