| Hey guys. Im a really poor runner, basicly I just sprint in to the pile and hope for positive yards. Everytime I get it on the outside I try juking and stuff, but when I succeed I always get caught by some other defender. Anyone got some great tips as to running the ball. When to sprint, when not to, when to juke insted of spin and so on. Thanks in advance | |

| i pretty much do the same thing as far as run into the pile and pray.the biggest thing that has helped my run game is to mix it up.i make sure to pass out of my run formations so the d doesnt know whats up.also some PA will keep em honest.another thing that has helped is to use the cover ball button (R1 on PS3) it is amazing how it breaks tackles.I also try not to hit sprint unless i have a definite hole, its just easier to manuever without.Mix it up and youll be good. | |

| What you need is a good running scheme. If you just run on 1st or 2nd downs, it's very easy to stop, try to run on downs where your opponent is not expecting it. For example, if it's 3rd 10, I would come out in a 4 WR set and run a draw, if I have been airing it out very effectively, they have no choice to come out with 3 down linemen. | |

| <----------------- good runner... wat you do is slide protect away from the play or slide protect pinch, when you hike the ball dont hold turbo and look for holes really quickly.... on a run like a power O its made so you can get outside or run inside so on power Os you have to pay attention to where the lbs go, based off how fast the fb blocks someone and the angle they get blocked from also lets you know if you can run outside or not.....on a run like a stretch while you are running towards the outside you have to look for cutback holes so if you see defenders running towards the outside you quickly juke back behind the line and still pick up some positive yards.....i dunno if i made sense but you basically look for cutbacks and dont really hold turbo until you know wat hole ur running through, the most important thing is just staying behind a blocker as far as juking i usually do that like right when i get in hitstick range and ive juked many hitsticks or when im at an angle and im about to get hit sticked from the side i constantly juke with small backs because they cant take a hit stick for s*** i only really spin in open field when i have space you dont really wanna spin in a crowd of course with a power back you want to ALWAYs push up on the right analog even while your being tackled because they push forward for more yards.... if you have a guy who will just randomly fumble you want to cover the ball during contact | |

| Only Sprink when u see a definate hole, if u sprint all the time , the defenders are more aggresive and get off their blocks much easier. | |
