controller config

Does anybody know if the controller layout will remain the same or can
we go back to using the x button to sprint (ps2-3) like the good old
days?

yeah the current layout feels the best out of all the layouts ive played with. its easier to throw on the run with the sprint button as R2 and its easier to put together move combos when running as you can hit the spin, hurdle, dive and highlight stick with your thumb all while being able to control the R2 button as u wish.

I like th old way better, for the last 15 years it's been X, and now they change it...........if you find out how to config to make the x button sprint, please let me know, thanks.

although there are no icons on the screen (which it should be), it goes like this: from left to right

triangle, X, square, R1, L1
