West Coast Breakdown:
Far 3WR: 3 plays
Far Pro: 3 plays
I form 3 WR: 3 plays
9 plays in total
Far 3WR plays: Always use Dual HB package for this formationCurl Flats: as every1 knows, curl flats have swept the nation this year.
Here is a way to get that same effect, without being in shotgun.
Setup: Motion Y to the left.
Looks:
your 1st and 2nd looks will be the WR's on curl routes. If they are
guarded, look towards the flat routes. If they're guarded, your in luck
because you have the HB on a delayed route out the backfield.
HB Screen: This is a good play, because your opponent won't see it coming.
Setup: Hot route LB to a left slant.
Put X on a curl route.
User control the HB.
Looks:
obviously the 1st look is the HB. He is seldom guarded, but if he is,
check it down to the WR on the curl. Its kind of a curl flat type
thing, but it works. Also look for the HB on the slant as well.
Slot Cross: This is a good play, because you have a wheel route, a streak, a
deep in, and a crossing route all in the same play!
Setup: hot route Y to run a curl
Looks:
your 1st look will be A running the crossing route. Your 2nd look is
going to be Y running the curl, or LB running the wheel(Y should
usually be open if A isn't) Your last look will be X running the
streak(only if you see he's open, or you want to RC.)
Far Pro: Always use Dual HB package for this formationDouble Swing: Very Good short yardage play if used correctly. This can be stopped, but it kills a nano.
Setup:
Motion Y to the left. Hot route LB to run a curl. Smart Route both
outside WR's(no matter how far, or close u are to the 1st down)
Looks:
Your 1st look will always be the TE, because of how unique his route
is. Your 2nd look will be LB(he should be open if the TE isnâ€
t open.)
Your 3rd look will be X(curl flat combo)
TE Curl: It's all about the circle route
Setup: Hot route LB to run a slant to the right.
Looks:
1st look is Y running the curl. Your 2nd look is B running the out
route(make sure he's tall so you can RC with him. Your 3rd look is
going to be the HB running the slant(if it's a blitz)
TE POST: This is a nice RC play, and also to keep your opponent honest if he's playing deep safety
Setup: Put both HB's on curls
Looks:
your 1st look will be your tallest outside WR running the corner to RC.
If he's not guarding the flats, or the middle very well, just dump it
off to one the HB's for a short gain. Your TE is the last look because
he comes into coverage(unless you throw it high)
I-form 3 WR: Use dual HB package for this formationPA Slot in: This is a normal post(don't get the safety to bite as much), so scramble to the right
Setup: hot route A to run a curl
Looks:
roll out to the right, and look for X running the post. If he's not
open, check it down to the WR running the curl. If he's blitzing in,
get it to the HB running the flat.
X Option: another crossing route, AND a 10 yard out route for the RC
Setup: motion the FB to the right, and put him on a curl. Put the HB on a slant to the left.
Looks:
your 1st look is gunna be the WR running the deep out for the RC. Your
2nd look is going to be the FB running the curl, AND the slot WR
running the crossing route. Your 3rd look will be the WR running the
option route.
FB Flare: slot WR running the extended fade is money
Setup: Hot route B to a streak. Hot route X to a curl. Motion Y to the left
Looks:
your 1st look is going to be the Slot WR running the extended fade(if
you want to attempt to see the spc catch, put an SPC WR there, and throw it low
and to the sideline holding LT) Your 2nd look will be the curl flat
combo(look towards either the WR or the HB for this)
