passing as the patriots

Im new to madden.
I play as the Patriots but am finding it difficult.
firstly my running game is not good. I get shut down for a loss regular.
Also my passing game is not great. Yes brady to moss reaps its rewards but i struggle to pull off many different moves. For instance if i run welker in a corner route or a curl the defender always gets ball side of the man and tips or intercepts. Moss also.
If i try to pass midfield i get intercepted a lot. Gaffney rarley catches the ball, he needs sticky grip on his hands. However Watson is my only saviour, but good players seem to shut him down with ease.

Also my punt returner drops the ball every game. I have tried to change him in both the game profile and the depth chart but low and behold he returns every punt, usually to drop the ball.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreiated

Even though u have a good team u have to find a strategy.. look up one of the stratgy's on this website... u'll do well.. better actually.. i know i am.. a strategy can be running the ball to pound the clock or even running the ball to set up the play action...

What playbook are you using for them....i'm assuming the Pats playbook. How about you try the following link, and try some of the plays posted.....

About the punt returner thing, you could always call fair catch. Click on punt returner while punt is in the air and keep hitting triangle for a fair catch. Or, you could go to depth chart when game starts and change your returner.

well passing with pats is simple shot gun moss is at least 10 yards down field welker is short back out of backfield and others wherever

my guess is you struggle with reads

u probally lock in on a reciever before snap.

You need to train yourself not to do that.

If u look at primary read then progress through them pats are almost unfair because line is so good brady is so good and WR so good

forget running unless it is draws put faulk at RB he can catch and is elusive he can also block back there

Try this... Keep running the corner routes and streak your TE if they cover the TE go corner. If they Cover the corner go TE streaking. Also use your RBs in the passing game. Do like curls with him or hit him in the backfield. If someone rushes 4 against me, I know I will win the game but if someone plays fag D I have trouble because all I do is pass.
